LE New unarmed mod.

Hello everyone, I wanted to present you my mod idea.

 

Recently I wanted to start an unarmed character, but I found that there are not many unarmed mods.

 

I'm sure some of you heard of League of Legends. There is one champion there, whose abilities would fit Skyrim. His name is Udyr and he uses his fists and animal stances to fight. Each stance has a stronger effect after activating and a passive boost for the stance's duration:

 

1. Tiger Stance - increases attack speed and first hit after activation deals additional bleed damage.

 

2. Turtle Stance - on activation gives a damage absorb shield, and his attacks steal life.

 

3. Bear Stance - increases movement speed and attacks stun targets.

 

4. Phoenix Stance - on activation unleashes 5 fire novas each second, and every 4th attack you launch a flame wave.

The effects would have to be changed a bit to fit with Skyrim combat system, for example:

 

1. Sabre Cat stance - increases attack speed a bit and adds a bleed to each attack. The first hit after activation would apply a stronger bleed.

 

2. Mudcrab(?) stance - on activation gives you a damage absorb shield. Each hit steals some life and stamina. Maybe some increased armor rating.

 

3. Bear Stance - a short movement speed boost, and each attack has a chance to stagger, and a smaller chance to knock down.

 

4. Dragon Stance - same effect as original. Something like 10 feet Fire Cloak spell for 6 sec on activation, and every 4th unarmed hit you launch a Fire Breath shout (or something similar).

 

 

 

I came up with 2 ways to implement the abilities to Skyrim.

 

A. One power (no cooldown) that when used, will randomly activate on of the stances (25% chance each).

 

B. Four powers without cooldown with a more passive effect, so you don't have to activate them all the time.

 

 

 

Method A seems better to me, because using 4 hotkeys in melee combat sucks. If you have all your stances in one power, you just have to click Z every 6 sec, which is way more convenient.

 

We could make some more stances with different effects, like Ice Wraith stance or smt.

 

 

 

I hope somebody finds it interesting and finds some easy way to make a mod out of this ^^
