Im having a problem with shouting at arngeir, he wants me to send him flying, i do, then he says dont be afraid so i send him flying again and again and again and 10 times later he still says: send me flying

it seems my shouts are not recognized by the game, not sure what is going on here

Mods:

nothing that affects the shouts

Onihime Katanas

Swift steeds

i tried making a new character, so i've gotten stuck at this quest twice

when the soldier asks me to shout "After killing the first dragon" nothing happens when i send him flying either

i have unlocked unrelenting force and i am using that shout to send them flying

i have done some quests before hand thou, bit of companion, im at the quest which makes me a werewolf, yet to become one, but i do have the Yol shout "fire" from dustmans cairn, and i got it at both occasions, could this be conflicting?

also done the thiefs guild a bit, currently on goldenglow estates

anyone encountered this problem?

i dont really feel like starting over a 3rd time

Download BOSS. It is sorting software. It will put mods it recognizes into optimum placement. It's not perfect, but it is nevertheless essential.

It's not a mod, you download it to your desktop or wherever.

When you are setting it up, choose the txt file version of the log (opposed to html) because this makes it very easy to copy/paste to a post.

You will notice that you get a bunch of messages, usually.

Address any messages about compatibility, obsolete mods, missing master files, etc. Unless you use Wrye Bash you can ignore the BASH tag recommendations. You may need to use TES5Edit, but personally I have never had to do this. I think it depends a lot on the specific mods involved, and also probably your total mod list size. In any case, you can ignore that for the moment.

BOSS will also probably have a list of unrecognized mods at the end. You need to place these yourself, preferably put them where the mod author instructs. If the mod author does not provide any direction on load order, it is usually enough to put similar mods together (like house mods with other house mods, etc.)

After you have done all that, open up the game, see if your problem is fixed. If not, just paste the BOSS log here. (If you don't see the updated load order list in NMM, you may just need to close/reopen NMM.)

(and at that point you may need to consider the TES5edit thing.)
