Race Menu for NPCs

 

there are lots of mods changing the looks of one or a few NPCs, but the most of them still look as ugly as in vanilla skyrim.

so I'd love to have a mod which allows you (maybe with a spell) to enter a race menu in which you can change the looks of npcs

I think it might even be not that hard to programm a modification like this, but it would enhance the game quite a lot

It certainly wouldn't be easy, but I have hope that it can be done. I've messed around with this concept quite a bit, using console commands to duplicate the player but the problem I've run into is that each new NPC created needs to be either applied to a placeholder NPC within a mod, or if the game can somehow create a new BASEID via an external program and save it into the save game, it could work but doing this would also mean the save game file would be much larger, unless it could also save every variable to a file which can be read at the start of each play through. Like a dynamic .esp that's constantly changing..
