Insisting on Lore, your Mod is too weird for TES

Why are Lore Fans and Members so Obsessed with TES Lore, they tell Modders who make Strange and Awesome Mods for their Game, that the Mod Sucks or doesent make sense.

 

I mean, the Modding Community is a Free Place, hence i dont care for Nude Mods that i know is the Only Rule on the Nexus witch i agree with.

 

Many Members or Newcomers are Afraid to Post a Mod, where they leave the Forum after one release, so why sort of chase those People away when they want to make a Mod and Show their Talents.

 

I mean will you be Flaming these Mods just because they arent within your view of TES Lore.

What is the Nexus Modding Community anyway, a place just for TES Lore Fans or a place where Any Members can make whatever they want.

There are no rules about nudity, other than the kids cannot be naked (which would honestly be just sick).

I wouldn't know, mostly because lore appears to be non-existent in my games. Plus, I use all those you listed above. :teehee:

 

MLP horses, macho man dragons, psychodelic textures, ninja turtles and Spiderman suits are a common sight in my game. And of course, these guard helmets I very much like:

I rigged them better and made them look much nicer since this pic was taken. :thumbsup:

 

Anyway, it's my game, I can do whatever I want with it and no one can tell me what to do. If I want to release this crazy stuff, no one can forbid me from doing so, nor can they force me to make anything I don't want. Insanity reigns supreme in my Skyrim, people can either accept it or go crazy trying to argue against it, I couldn't care less.

 

Besides, Sheogorath is lore friendly an nuts, now is he? So why is my insanity wrong but Sheogorath's is right?

There were also Members who made Mods that Removes Vampires from Skyrim or changed the Pentagram from the Collage of Winterhold because its the Sign of the Devil, but People were Flaming the Member so much, that the Mod got Deleted and he Cancelled his Account.

I mean if you cant even Remove or Change a few things for yourselves, what gives People the right to Order the Member that its TES Lore and should stay within the Game.

 

There are Deadra Princes witch i would love to have Removed through a Mod and thats Hermeas Mora, Boethia, Molag Bal and Namira, you just Mod the Items to be found through another way.

People criticize lore-unfriendly mods if they're a fervent fan of Skyrim. They subconsciously think that the silly mod is going to affect them somehow, even though it won't unless they install it.

And there's a deeper fear that the Nexus is eventually going to *just* be silly and/or anime stuff, which scares the more hardcore players.

Exactly, if you dont like it, dont say anything at all.

 

Its not like a Plague worming itself into your Game, unless your Finger has a mind of its own and press the Download Button from that Silly looking Mod and theres Allot of Silly Mods i love.

That doesn't just happen with TES, you got no idea how many insults I received after releasing this for Fallout 3, not to mention the frequency of those insults after it stayed on top of Hot Files and FOTM for two weeks. Moderators were literally circling around it like vultures to take down all those trolls, a dozen guys got banned because of commenting on it.

 

I find those kinds of comments hilarious, myrmaad, bben and LHammonds not so much. ;D

Thats because they have already been dealt with and im using Example Mods, heck i can make a List of the 2000 Silly Mods if your going to tell me you cant find any Flaming in them :P
