I have recently started to play Skyrim again after a long break and went on to nexus to look for new mods, when i stumbled across a problem. When in a mod's page, nothing happens when I click on files, post, etc, and I can only stay on the description page for some reason. Also, when I click download (manually) because there is no download( nmm) for some mods, nothing happens too. Please help me as this is a very big problem for me when I am trying to download different mods, this is the first time happen and I am quite sure it is not a browser issue, help much appreciated.

What browser are you using?

Have you tried logging out/logging in from the site? (if you are not logged into the Nexus side as well as the forums side, you will not get the download using NMM button)

Have you tried allowing flash/cookies, etc?

It sounds to me like a browser issue, or maybe a security/firewall setting. Sorry I have never heard of anyone having your issue. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be a site issue or other people would be reporting it.

Hopefully someone else will have your solution, alas I don't.

The Nexus has been having issues today, at least for me. I'm seeing long page load times, server errors, timeouts, etc. I don't know if this is related to your problem, but it might be. In spite of all the upgrades and improvements that have allegedly occurred over time, the Nexus is no more reliable than it was a year ago. And it's more likely to tank on the weekend.

If the Download (NMM) is not showing, then it means the author has chosen to remove it from their mod. They do not want people to download it through NMM. I was told this in another topic, and someone said the author decided not to make it show up.

Copypasted from another topic: Not all files work with the mod manager, and the mod author can turn the buttons off, which this mod author has.
