I'm sorry I wasted my money on this piece of garbage.

I'm very pissed off with this DLC

Without spoiling it I'll just say that You find out about it in the game in same fashion you found out about Shivering Isles you get an on screen message.

After about 2 and a half hours Real time of scouring and scouring the area to do the task, I still cannot find it. This content is not only completely and utterly retarded but it is so super secretly hidden it's impossible to find without being told exactly what to do/how to get to it.

I gave up trying to continue with this it shouldn't take me this frigging long to get a stupid task done.

Why do game companies create content like this then, make it outragously complex to get to.

I don't care who says what, no one found this/completed on thier own or now one is going to be able to find this on thier own, without being told the exact process in doing so, because this is far from obvious, easy, or common sense. Even with map markers.

I wish I had my money back for this.

I found it, by myself. Guess that makes me pretty smart.

Funny thing all I had to do was fast travel to the Red Racer Factory and go south east to find a door in a wall that I'd never seen before which then led to the place I had to go.

i've read that it works better if you move the esm & bsa to the Fallout 3 Data folderhmm.. can't find that thread maybe this one will help though

You can't launch it unless it is in the folder.

As for this comment

I found it, by myself. Guess that makes me pretty smart.

No that means you have memorized every single door, piece of debris, piece of clutter, the lay out of the exact position of every single thing in this game both outside and inside, and everything else. You will have had to memorize this entirre games layout, That's the only way you can say a DOOR YOU DIDN'T RECOGNIZE.

You found it because you read exactly where you had to go so yes you found it on your own but you had to be told how to find it.

Getting a message to go investigate something and then not clarifying exactly what the term investigate means, not only says a whole lot of nothing, but leaves you with absolutely no way in hell of knowing what exactly needs to be done.

And yes this needs to be told to you otherwise you you wind up having happen to you what happened to me and have no clue to what the hell is going on and then you simply give up and have to be told.

Sorry but I shouldn't have to be told the solution to this by someone else when the game should have been explicitly clear and easy to follow.

It's a door in the east wall opposite the car park south of the red racer factory.

Eh? I didn't read jack telling me where to go other than my Pipboy World Map.

1. I got the signal 30 seconds after loading my Megton save.

2. I thought, "Hey it gave me a Quest, better take a look at it".

3. I opened my Pipboy, clicked Quests clicked the new quest and then clicked the World Map.

4. Then I thought "ok the closest marker to that marker is the Red Racer Factory."

5. Fast travelled to the Red Racer Factory.

6. Then I thought "Ok so this place is south east, why don't I waste the two Raiders in the RR Carpark".

7. After the Raiders were dealt with I turned around and noticed a doorway in the wall behind me.

8. So I thought "Hmm I didn't see this door way last time I passed by here, seems like the only way to get to where the new Quest wants me to go".

9. Travelled through the new metro tunnel, and in the next zone there was a bunch of Outcasts doing a running battle with Super Mutants. Huzzah the quest.

Yes because every other quest in the game treats you like a little baby just taking your first steps out of the Vault who needs detailed step by step instructions for every little detail. :glare:

Thank you

ABOUT THIS:

Lets go over this

1. I got that message as well

2. I did that

3. I did that as well

4. I have no clue to where anyone is getting this Red Racer Factory Crap from because the the closest marker on my map is the Flooded Metro

5. I fast traveled to the Flooded Metro

7. Mine is to the North West

8. You're assuming I know the area, so therefore you have already assumed way too much, there are so many doors in this game in wierd places that this door looked like the hundereds of others in this game. So it didn't look out of place to me, and it's not the only way the quest tells you to go because the quest doesn't show you the exact way you need to go. So that is an assumption your enforcing onto me just like the assumption about the door.

9. Every tunnel I have gone into in this game is a complete loop, the way you go in, is the only way to go out. So why after going though 6 tunnels only to come back out would i go through this one thinking any differently. So I would have no reason at all to travel through a tunnel that isn't going to lead me anywhere except in a circle.

lol it on you map if you have 360 so it shud be there on pc to cant tho cuss dont have it for pc yet but i found it in like to 2 sec its acrose the street from a closed parking lot that has raiders in it

It is on my map but that just tells me the area to go to after that your left to simply guess.

There is a difference between being spoon fed and being told information that allows you to continue.

Every single person assumes way too much and have no comprehension about anothers game play. Like the example I stopped going into tunnels because i never found a tunnel that went in any other direction except a circle so i always come out the way i went in.

So again because of that, what in the world makes anyone think I would have an clue the tunnel is the way you need to go.

maybe if the game designers designed the way to get there not through a tunnel I would have found it. but since the game designers like to create repetative situations they why did they tink it was a good idea to place the way you need to go through a tunnel when they know all tunnels in this game a player goes through only goes in a circle.

That is the programmers fault for designing such a piss poor system.

Sorry but you can't go making tunnels that don't lead anywhere then place the way you need to go into a tunnel and then expect people to know you need ot go through a tunnel.

Again that's plain out right retarded

Seriously what the hell were the game designers thinking

The game needs to tell you you the exact route you need to go in and the specifics about what you have to do when starting this

All I will add is the following:

please be careful of any spoilers in these DLC posts.

And if you're going in circles in tunnels you need to explore more and pay attention to your map. There are tons of places one can only get to by going through tunnels.

Cheers.

I tried hard not to so sorry if I did I didn't mean to

But as for this:

And if you're going in circles in tunnels you need to explore more and pay attention to your map. There are tons of places one can only get to by going through tunnels. Cheers.

Ok look I'm going to explain this very simple so it cannot be misunderstood:

1. I'm going around in circles in tunnels because thats all the tunnels I have been going into do, there is no mystery or any hidden meaning that's just the way it is with the underground places I have been going into

2. I really should take videos of where I go so that way when something like this comes up I can just post the video and say dont' take my word for it watch the proof.

3. I never said all tunnels never go anywhere, what I said was that all the underground places I have been through (4 of them being tunnels) never go anywhere.

4. I stop using the local map once I get indoors because it's 100% completely useless when indoors, it's impossible to tell where you have and have not been due to it being a top down view. I did try it again when in the broken BOW but had no idea where I did not go because when I covered the 1st floor, the 3rd floor also got uncovered so there was no way of telling where I had not been already. So now I don't even bother with the map it's impossible to read when indoors.

All right well I was just responding to:

I find that hard to believe, sorry. I think I've experienced that with a total of TWO tunnels. You CAN use the map when indoors, especially when in tunnels. Believe me or don't but most of them lead you elsewhere.

Good luck.
