Call me crazy but i really hope so!

Because I now have a few mods installed (using NMM) and thats great cause if i want to get rid of them I just deactivate the mods...

but i also have some ENB (mods?) "files" in my skyrim folder... and the game actually runs fine... but I cant keep track of what files i have in my skyrim folder

and I did not read the Instructions that close... :ermm:

anyway I would just like to "reinstall" the ENB files so i know what i got in my folder....

also: will I be able to uninstall skyrim and still keep the mods i got working with NMM?

(here are some of the ENB mods I think i have "installed"

Well to answer your question in the title, no it won't. If you uninstall Skyrim through steam it doesn't always delete everything from your computer, it is coded to only delete vanilla files that come with the game stock. However there is a way to delete ENB files as well as mods. This is called doing a clean install in the modding community, I'm not sure if this is what your asking for but here's a quick layout of the procedure.

  1. go into steam and delete all local content from Skyrim, you'll see it in the drop down menu at the bottom if you right click Skyrim in your library.
  2. Next go to you Skyrim directory located (more often then not) at C:/programfilesx86/steam/steamapps/common/Skyrim
  3. You'll notice that a folder for Skyrim still exists even though you deleted it from steam, here is where I mentioned above comes in.
  4. Delete the folder 'Skyrim' from step 3
  5. Go to your documents
  6. Click on 'my games' folder find Skyrim and delete it (make a backup of your saves if you think they aren't corrupted and are clean of any mods.
  7. Finally go to your computer file and find the folder labeled 'games' and click on it, find the nexus mod manager folder and click on it, inside you'll find two folders, one labeled install info and the other mods, delete ONLY the install info folder.
  8. What this last step does, is it deletes trace logs of installations of mods so that your computer think you never installed them but if you leave the mods folder all the mods you've collected will still be in NMM the next time you go to install them.

From there you just install Skyrim as normal. I highly recommend you make back-ups of all the mods you install manually and all your ENB mods. You can use these to reference back to what files you need to delete in the case you need or want to remove it without breaking your game. And as far as that last bit...

I'm not sure if you just worded that strangely, but you cannot have more then one ENB running at a time, if you do they wont work.

Anyways hope this helps! Message me if you need any more help.

you... My friend are a freaking life saver... I am no fan of steam software but I was about to quit the game with all the issues and no ability to update (steam refused to even though I bought the game!)
