Silverdsdn
Hey everyone, I appreciate you stopping by to see the repetitive problem of having neck seams. Now before I start asking for help, let me share what I have done. I am using Vortex, not NMM. So, I have CBBE installed, along with Bjinn Skin CBBE, CBBE SMP, and HDT-SMP. I have tattoo mods too. I made a bodyslide preset for use with Unique Characters, and have that installed and running fine. The Body itself works. However, I have a neck seam. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I have the CBBE Face pack installed, because some internet scouring has shown that I need a CBBE face mod of some kind for it to match with the body. I also looked at something called Tex Blend but I couldn't tell if it was able to be used for SSE. I have tried reinstalling CBBE, manually putting in the face packs, but so far no luck. I am about to try a female preset face mod, see if that may work for me. If anyone has any ideas or things I might have missed, please let me know, I'd greatly appreciate it. anjenthedog
By "neck seam", do you mean a change in skin tone between the head and body, or a gap between the body and neck? If the latter, try adjusting the weight of your character. Afaik, some head models are made using a specific weight and when it doesn't match the body, the gap shows up. Or at least that's my limited understanding of the issue. for the former (skin tone change between head and body), not sure. Good luck
Helmsmasher
Is the neck seam on your player character or on npcs? Or both? Edited April 13, 2021 by Helmsmasher
Jeir
The CBBE FacePack is made to work with the default CBBE skin texture. If you're using Bjinn Skin, you need to use all of it, including the face texture. TexBlend is LE only and needs a total re-write before it can be used in any other game. This is unlikely to happen as most of the time body texture replacers also have matching head texture replacers.

Turns out, with Unique Character, I didn't install the Face textures INTO unique character's folder. I feel like such a major idiot right now.... I'm so sad. Forgive the late reply, I only got back to modding tonight and fixed the problem. Thanks for your reply!
Silverdsdn
Is the neck seam on your player character or on npcs? Or both? The Neck seam was only on my character, but I had fixed it after realized CBBE's faces were only installed on the regular mesh and texture files, not in unique characters. Luckily I fixed it. Thanks for the reply! :D

I luckily was using all the textures, but I didn't place the face textures into unique characters. So in other words, I DONE GOOFED. Thanks for the reply!
