Problems with Categorized Favorites Menu

So, I downloaded and installed the Categorized Favorites Menu mod by favmenumodder, and I like it a lot. The only problem with it was that it wouldn't detect or it would put weapons/items from mods into different categories.

For example, it would put the Anduril sword form the LOTR mod into misc.

 

Because of this I tried using a compatibility patch with my mods and got this http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/34150/? It detects all my mods and puts them in the right categories, but the problem is that there is always a slight delay when I open the favorites menu and when I click on something on the menu. It's like a full second delay, which is really annoying when I want to open something quickly. I didn't have this delay problem with the original version, so I'm guessing the compatibility add on is doing this? I've tried similar mods to add compatibility with CFM and my other mods, but I kept getting the same problem: the full second delay when opening the favorites menu (it'd freeze the game for a second, then open the favorites menu) and it'd also have a delay when I choose something on the menu.

 

Is there a way to get rid of the annoying delay?
