Thor.
Generic 3d sucks, james Cameron 3d rules, now does that tv use the emitters or it standard 3d, makes a big difference, its like Nvidia 3d.
hoofhearted4
wouldnt know. only ever saw Avatar once on normal TV and thought it was the biggest complete pile of crap rip off movie ever. all he did was take Dances With Wolves and used Smurfs instead. as far as what does the TV use, again i havent a clue. didnt look into it because i wasnt interested in the 3D. The 3D, however, was stunning. It may as well have been a tech demo instead of a real movie, because the special effects and 3D was far more entertaining than the plot or the acting.I have a thing for tribal girls though, so I gave it bonus points for Neytiri. :P Back on topic, I don't bother with 3D. Once it's industry standard I'll start using it. Until then, I don't want half my library compatible with 3D and half my library in 2D. That'd be a big immersion breaker to switch back and forth all the time. Plus, looking for a 120 hz TV will drive the price up an (imo) pointless amount. Don't get me wrong, I love 3D when it's done right, it's just not worth dividing my library again. I already split my time between my PS2, PS3, and PC. Splitting the PS3 and PC in half again, with 3D and without 3D, would be chaotic. Edited May 23, 2013 by Rennn
