Confusing CTD on save

Just adding to this in case anyone else finds it helpful.

Turned out that iNeed was causing the CTDs. I was on the verge of dumping my game and starting over but I thought I might as well try removing some mods as the game was borked anyway.

No reason for picking on iNeed first, other than I know it to cause issues sometimes. I also thought the crash log reference to a levelled list might be something to do with iNeed classifying food/drink items.

Problem solved anyway, apparently. I played for about a day (irl) with no issues. Some crashes but they were fixed by using Resaver to clean up iNeed's leftover scripts. I then reinstalled iNeed, and all seems fine still, for now at least.

I did notice while googling for solutions to the problem, that some other needs mods appear to cause a similar CTD on save. I wonder if it is something to do with classifying items, but I don't know how to investigate that really.

I guess the main lesson I''m taking from this, is that Net Framework crash logs can be a red herring if you don't really know how to read them, like me. The reference to a levelled list was an indirect hint, but there was nothing in the log that directly pointed to iNeed.

Anyway, yay. Level 19 character gets a stay of execution : )

(Not sure now if this thread really belongs in this section, as it's clearly a mod issue and not Skyrim itself. Apologies, if anyone is moderating this)
