To make a long, complicated story short, you must actually play through the Main Quest and attain several artifacts in order to kill Dagoth Ur.

The 'tools' Dagoth Ur was referring to were Keening and Sunder, used to tap and refine the raw power from the Heart of Lorkhan.

To begin the Main Quest, speak with Bacolus Clasius, the propietor of the South Wall, the cornerclub in Balmora. He will give you directions to Caius Cosades' house, the man from whom you will take orders from for the better portion of the Main Quest.

Also: You see the Caps Lock button on your keyboard? It is a mere 7/16th of an inch away from the 'A' key, which you just used four times. Turn it bloody off.

if you want to get the wraithguard faster without making the cuests

then head straith to the cavern of incarnage or whas it named that?

and get the mood-and-star then you only have to be named Hortator and Nerevarine but that isn't so fast done well neither way i suggest starting

the cuest from the beginning.

well if you do that and kill Vivec then don't you also

need the books that Yagrum Bargum can teach you

to use the wraithguard?

You can always do it by the alternative route. Kill Vivec and take the Dwemer artifact to Yagrum Bargum in the Corprusarium.

That is by far the quickest way.

However you do miss out on most of the game!

I FOUND DAGUN UR HOW DO I KILL HIM ???????????

HE SAID SOMETHING ABUT A TOOL ?

(snorts into his coffee)

there is a little thing built into your game called "Journal"

you should try taking a look at this.

also, Lord Vivec will give you some little pieces of paper with names like "Plan to Defeat Dagoth Ur" <<they might be worthwhile to take a look at.

probably considering that the main quest is basically to defeat Dagoth Ur, it follows that you should follow thru the main quest before defeating him. some times people like to level up beyond 10 before taking on dagoth ur, too :bleh:

no offense meant, but that post just really made my day
