got 3 warnings from BOSS, all the same, reading as follows: Warning: Due to conflicts between Sounds of Skyrim - The Dungeons and ClimatesOfTamriel-Dungeons-Hardcore.esp it is recommended you use the appropriate compatibility patch found here.

so the kicker is i dont use SOS (Sounds of Skyrim) so i dont know whats up, any thoughts?

If you ever did use Sounds of Skyrim, my guess is that you have some remaining files related to it.

If you do not, then it may be that it is just a general message to prevent problems (maybe accidentally labelled as a warning).

Are you actually having problems in your game? If not, then I would not worry about it, maybe just revisit the mod's description/install/discussion pages and reread to see if this is a known issue.

never used SOS so, ill say its the latter, this is what i was thinking from the start but i have had no idea how sophisticated BOSS is or was, i couldn't be sure if it was capable of a accidental warning, heance "BOSS confusion"

Thanks.

The last log is the one normally referred to when 'BOSS log' is requested as it contains your load order as well as BOSS messages about the plugins.

Normally, those sorts of 'you need a compatibility patch if you are using X mod with Y mod' only appears if BOSS detects X and Y mod in your load order, so it is weird to see that message appear in your BOSS log when you do not have any SoS plugins in the load order at all (active or inactive). Since I don't use CoT any more, I don't know if that message appears for CoT users even if you don't have SoS installed, but I've seen several recent BOSS logs where the users are using CoT, but they did not contain that error message (it could be that they were all using SoS as well, but that's rather unlikely...)...so....I don't know. You can swing by BOSS' support thread on the Nexus or its 'official' thread on the Bethesda forum to make some inquiries.
