Don't know when it happened as I was running in reinforced leather armor most of the time (no clipping there).I can't find anything on the net only some post with simmilar problem but zero responses.I use some texture and armor mods but removing them did not fix the problem.So far i have the problem on combat armor reinforced mk I and II the space suite and ranger combat armor. And those are vanila armors not custom armors I know normaly they don't look lke this with the pipboy.Btw I'm using no pipboy mods and all my mods ase installed with NMM. maateusz1984 Posted May 15, 2013 Author Share Posted May 15, 2013 (edited) A small update - I played a bit and it seams that my pipboy is f***** up in general as even with no armor when I hold a rifle it cllips in my my armor as if the pipboy was moved on the model away from the body. DizzasterJuice Posted May 16, 2013 Share Posted May 16, 2013 (edited) Go to Data/meshes/characters/_male and look for these files:lefthandpipboyglove.niflefthandpipboyglove1st.niffemalelefthandpipboyglove.niffemalelefthandpipboyglove1st.nifalso check animations in Data/meshes/characters/_male/idleanims for any .kf that has "pipboy" in the name. If you have any of these then remove or rename them. Once you remove them the game will default to the original .nif or .kf in the bsa file. maateusz1984 Posted May 17, 2013 Author Share Posted May 17, 2013 (edited) That was actualy one of the first things I did. But as i said I had no pipboy mods so no meshe for pipboy in the folders. I looked in FNVE but nothing is moding the pipboy meshe. I even unpacked the original nif and kf files (from fallout meshe bsa) with FOMM and made a mod with them still no luck. I think the problem is locked in my save games now and can't be removed. Just like the NCR patrol armor is permamently changing your stance animation. I remember I had a simillar problem in F3 but I used a mod that removed the the glove and the pipboy went back to is't default place on the arm. No luck with glove removing mods in NV -_- I'm using http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/35557/? now so I can keep my pipboy look in the menu and not see that terrible clipping in 3rd person. I miss the pipboy in the 3rp person view a bit but oh well... The mod works and the pipboy comes out much faster now.
