Georgiegril
Wow that is pretty low!You might find this link useful, not for the flying animals but for the low-end rig tweaks.
prod80
"I generally have an average framerate of 6(?) FPS or lower, but I wouldn't want the effects to get worse" Forgot a zero there? If not, that must be hard to play :S PowerPoint slides can reach that speed!... hope you get something better soon... good thing is that a decent system that can play Skyrim fuently will not cost a lot around that time. Edit: meh
spontaneite
Haha, no, sadly, I did not forget the zero. I do indeed run the game at 6fps most of the time. The highest I've ever gotten was around 15 outdoors, and it's never consistent. In dungeons sometimes I can get 12-15 consistently but...well, not only is my rig crappy but it's also a laptop, so once it starts heating up too much (I even have a laptop fan helping) I have to stop playing or endure 3fps. You have to really love a game to play it at such a low framerate :P I am really, really looking forward to getting a gaming PC. You can't imagine how frustrating it is to sit there waiting for even the loot menus to open - it's that slow! But I've gotten used to it ^^'
WolvenEdge
>ears half droop< I now consider myself lucky. I thought my computer was in need of improvement. >ears perk< On the plus side, newegg.com has good reviews for getting parts, at least for a desktop, and computers are rather cheap just now.
