camy252
Read the OOO manual and looked up some guides on the net but unfortunately I haven't been able to find a clear solution here. I am looking to get back the default levelling setup in my Oblivion game. All the guides say I should install the OOO-Level_Stock.esp but I cannot find this in my mod data files. There is a level_rates_modified folder in the add ons which can set the levelling up to x2 if I wanted but ideally Id rather just have the default back. Can I download this .esp from somewhere? I am using OOO FULL. Also it mentions that only one OOO esp should be used at the one time, so if I was to acquire the 000-Level_stock.esp would I have to run that instead of the full OOO esp. Thats what the guide says but that doesnt make sense to me as surely I want 000 for all its glory i just dont want the slower levelling up? Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated! Hickory
You do not need OOO-Level_Stock.esp for default leveling, that's what the main plugin gives you. The optional plugins are there only if you *don't* want stock leveling.
Nephenee13
You should probably just use nGCD/Realistic Leveling/OblivionXP to replace the vanilla leveling scheme anyway.
camy252
Thanks for quick replies guys. Its taken me ages to level up and according to many sources it tells me that OOO default leveling up is at least x3 slower than vanilla. How do I activate the main plugin to reset to default levelling up?
Hickory
If you are running OOO you already have the main plugin enabled.
camy252
Ah, starting to make a bit more sense. I am definitely sure my levelling up has taken alot longer than the first time i played vanilla. But maybe im just not getting into as many fights as before or something.... Lucky i didnt activate the x2 modifier otherwise Id be a Imperial noob for ages! Thanks again guys
camy252
Okay did some research and apparently OOO does have a slower levelling up system than vanilla. Which i was pretty sure of anyways but seems to have been confirmed. So my original question still stands i am afraid. How can i speed up levelling to either x2 or default speed? Hickory
OOO has slower leveling because OOO is a totally different game than vanilla Oblivion. But if you want different, and don't take Nephenee13's already given advice, then use one of the provided plugins that come in the Add-Ons folder. These are: OOO-Level_Normal.espOOO-Level_Slow.espOOO-Level_Stock.esp Read the readme.
eudelfeudel
Hi, i made a fresh install of Oblivion with SI and installed nearly all mods on Bevi's list with the help of those step-by-step guide videos. Worked very well, thanks a lot! Now i want to install OOO as well ... is this possible? If it is, what install do i have to use and how do i have to install it so it actually works? I used those 1.5 OOO files and installed with WB, but get tons of errors ... Thanks in advance! edit: to be exact: after i uninstalled OOO via wb again i cant get the bevi-mod-list working again ... when i create batch patch it doesnt like the weapon improvement mod and in game everyone has "install blockheads" written over their face. Blockhead is installed, and i did run boss several times. :( Edited March 3, 2018 by eudelfeudel
