DreamOfTheRood
I'm on a side quest to bring Fonus Rathyron from Maar Gan to the Ruddy Man in Koal Cave. I'm traveling along some valley, probably Foyada Mama Mia or something, and I just can't find a western route for the life of me. I've gone south quite a ways, but there's no track that leads west. The same thing goes for the north. Each way, I'm completely blocked by the weathered mountains of the Ashlands region. Here's the question: What's the quickest overland route from Maar Gan to Gnisis - without using Silt Striders or teleportation devices? DreamOfTheRood
Wow. WOW! Holy crap! I never would have thought of that if you, YOU, wouldn't have said it. I mean, that's pure genius right there. Somebody should give you a medal. You deserve it.
Switch
Well, um... he has a point. :P Just take a looksee at the map on UESP, found here. You can zoom in there, hopefully you can figure out a route. And erm actually I just remembered, you can take NPCs with you in the Silt Strider. Just costs a little extra. DreamOfTheRood
You can take NPCs with you in the Silt Strider. Just costs a little extra. Totally didn't know that. Is that part of an update? They released several updates while my computer was down for about nine months, and I don't remember being able to do that before. Thanks Switch. Switch
You're welcome :P I dunno, I last did it about a year ago. So if there was an update, it wasn't a recent one ;)
Guest
If I remember right, I did find a path just north of Bal Isra - but it's been a bit. Otherwise you have to go south as far as the junction to Ald 'ruhn to find a route - which is WAY out of the "as the cliff racer flies" path. Usually I just take the ships/silt striders now - a LOT easier.
Malchik
No update, it's been possible (in the European version at least) since it first came out. You can't take them on teleporters.
