Niouuuuu
Hello all ^^ I've recently re-install Dark Souls and I have some issues with Nexus Mod Manager... I'll properly install DSFix in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Dark Souls Prepare to Die Edition\DATA as you can see here .Then I install Nexus Mod Manager. I don't have any issue with it. It installs properly. Then I connect to my account and that's it. Now here is my problem. When I download mods (manually or with NMM). Here is that I've got.I think it is pretty normal, isn't it? So. Now I'll lunch Dark Souls. And my mods are not applied... I do not understand that... Finally, here is my question. My first question is did I install it badly or something? My second one is, can I install mods without Nexus Mod Manager and if I can, how can I do it... Thank you. chiefs1982
I have the same problem. looks like we are the only one's with this problem. Just apply mods manually and forget about Nexus Mod Manager.

Rennn
It's very simple to install all Dark Souls mods without NMM. It's not like Skyrim, where mods can be in 10 different formats. Only a couple mods, like DSfix or DSMfix are even slightly complicated.A simple Google search should tell you all you need to know. Failing that, first install DSfix. Then stick the .dds or .png images from other mods inside your Dark Souls -> DSfix -> TexOverride folder. Lorddominion9
I installed dsfix without any problems and that works fine....but other mods are not working. I enabled texture override and I put them in the TexOverride folder. So...I am looking for ways to fix it and make it so that the other mods will work.
