System Specs are:

Nvidia GeforceGT 630m 1GB (Really leaning towards this being my problem.)

Intel Core 15-321M @2.50

16gb ram

64bit windows 7 pro

(Not sure if that's all that you guys need though, so if there's something extra ask.)

Also running an ENB to limit frame to 35 and running on lowest graphics settings.

Quick explanation of problem in bullet point form to make this easy to read because there was a big wall of text and I'm sorry./breathes

- So firstly, Skyrim will just CtD. I've made sure every texture, mesh, script and everything else was correct in every way, making correct over-writes, using FNIS every other second, cleaning with TES5 edit and the crashes are NOT recreatable.

 

My lvl 1 character will crash for NO apparent reason at totally random intervals, e.g When I was swimming in the lake at riverwood, when I was fighting Vilka in Whiterun, Getting to whiterun was totally insanely frustrating in the first place because every like, 2-10 minutes there would be a crash.=(

- Secondly, load times are terrible even with v-sync off and fps at 35. I tried letting the game load me from Jarvaskar (however that's spelt) to whiterun to fight vilka, nothing. Just load screen forever. Like, I left, ate dinner, came back, still loading. How do I fix this?=(

Also, loading save games in the open world is totally impossible. I know I can work around this, but when I quicksave during a fight and the game ctds before I get in somewhere safe....;(

I played through New Vegas with an arguably heavier mods (Mostly quest type mods instead of all the armor and texture mods here), so....F*************** I don't know what to do.

If the best solution would be to just save my skyrim folder and play it on a stronger rig, fine, but just tell me so that I don't have to wile away the hours doing so much for nothing.-.-/desperation over

As you are on level 1, I suggest the easiest and ultimately fastest and least frustrating solution for you would be to start over on a clean install of the game, no mods or other changes until exiting Helgen, then making 1 or 2 changes at a time, running BOSS (if you added mods) and playing a bit for stability before adding more.

 

I have a 9800 GT with only 512 mb memory, so I do not think you are doomed because of your graphics card. Skyrim however does not much like laptops. I think you will just need to take it slow and build a game that works for you and your computer. Personally I would suggest not using a ENB--you can limit your fps with NVidia Inspector, or EVGA precision, or the like, which will greatly decrease your GPU's burden compared to using an ENB.

 

I also strongly recommend you disable quick saves and auto saves--this will drastically decrease your problems related to savegames.

Switched to Nvidia Inspector and dropped ENB, you're right, it was crashing me.

Also, dropped every Alpha/Beta mod in my list that were just there for kicks. Replacing with more stable iterations of the concepts. Hoping this works, thanks so much for the advice, I'm going to try a little longer without forcing a new save, then if nothing for it, just rebuild from scratch.

 

Also, are there any sorts of small ini tweaks I could do that are sheerly for the sole purpose of faster load times? My perfromance on high is seamless without the ENB, but load times still take a little long because of the multitude of mods, so it just popped into my head to mess with the ini a bit.

I'm using a workaround atm. I have a save with no data on it in the cell for Live Another Life, then I can pretty much load any save in any other area in Skyrim. Still random CtDs, but I managed to stabilise the game for the most part. The last time I had a CtD was using the showracemenu command to change weight, but then I just...changed it with a command, however, it happened twice in a row, so that was the first repeatable instance.

 

I think that a major issue was my non-ability to render the world with all of the mods, because I find I have trouble opening inventory screens in open world skyrim and not indoor skyrim. I only ever have CtDs on area transitions and menu openings.

 

also removed almost all of the silly quest mods that I could do at the end and stuff, dropped some followers too, because the followers were OP (UFF ruins the beginning of the game with the Miria companion, too strong.)

 

I honestly haven't got the umpteen hours to wait and time a full load in honestly, I haven't finished one load cycle at all.XD

Yeah, game's been stably going without CtD'ing for a few days now. Got one right now, but I had 7 followers with me, so I kinda saw it coming.XD
