Dragosh
Im an Fallout 2 fan from the older days, it was a great game i wished there were more stuff, there were cool weapons, like the plasma rifle which looks very different now, and that weird alien enemy  Anyway, these days Fallout 3 came out along with the GECK, so i was wondering how many people would be interested to see these locations from fallout 1/2 in fallout 3 with all the items/weapons and that stuff ? I myself am no modder, poor knowledge in 3dsmax, nor can i do anything else... So i was wondering how many people are interested in such a mod, and may there be anyone willing to make such a mod ? :thanks:

Cotes
Well, while the graphics can't be used for more than one reason, FO1 and FO2 would give a pretty solid concepts and design ideas. I.e. know where to start. New Reno redone in FO3 = pure win. How about music? Illegal? Must say things are pretty stuck up if you can't take material a company owns to non-commercially enchance another product of the said company, especially given it will make the product all more attracting. Riain
If you plan to make these locations in Fallout 3 legally you might want to try using GTS ( http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3157 ) to connect it with the rest of the game. It allows you to travel the world. Seeing maps of the Americas and the Earth. You could easily use it as a fun way to get to California.

Guest
I dont really see a point to adding locations from fallout 1 and fallout 2 to fallout 3. It was the characters, quests, dialogue, and all the various wacky encounters that made exploring those locations worthwhile in fallout 1 and 2. Unless someone was willing to replicate that whole experience then adding new locations doesnt really accomplish anything because its just gonna be completely superficial and banal. Although it would be pretty awesome if California was added, along with a bunch of awesome npcs, a ton of new quests, and a new main story quest that doesnt suck like FO3s did. But youre talking about hundreds of hours of work to mod something like that.
NephilimNexus
There already is a location from an old game added. It's called Megaton. The town of Megaton, the Church of Atom, and the disarming quest are all from the original Wasteland game for the C64 that came out in 1988.
