Pevey
So this seemingly basic question has me stumped, and I could really use a hint from some of you out there with more skills in creating NPCs, AI packages, etc. I've created a cell, added an NPC, set the NPC to own the cell's location. The NPC is neutral to the player character. Here is the question: Even during daylight hours, the NPC tells the PC that they need to leave. What is that you have to tweak to allow he PC to enter the NPC's cell, like we can enter inn's stores, etc? (Ishara, I hope you're lurking today!) Thanks. Edit: I should also mention that this NPC is set up as a merchant ans has hours of 8 AM to 8 PM. That didn't seem to affect the PC being allowed into the cell without calling the guards. Pevey
Just in case anyone is curious or googles this later, here is the answer: I had to make sure the owner of the door was set to the correct faction (the faction that owns the cell). Then, make sure the NPC is a member of that faction. Then, make sure the NPC has a package that tells them to unlock the door. Finally, make sure the NPC has the key in their inventory.
