DreamOfTheRood
I just saw the film, and I loved it. It's the second best action film I've seen all year (with the gold medal going to Kill Bill 2). What do you think?
Luxar
it was ok. Wasn't that exciting. But it definitely captured the jumpy-scary moments that I remember so well from the original Alien. wooo got the blood pumpin haha.
valdir
I heard it was pretty bad from everyone that has seen it that I know. Plus, the reviews on various websites aren't helping. Plus, it was directed by Paul Anderson, the good man that brought us all the Mortal Kombat movies  Granted, he did make the Resident Evil movie, and despite it's "pre RE1" storyline, its the best video game based movie to date. Anyway, let's hope Anderson can pull a rabbit out of his hat for the Driver movie (2006) ~Val
Slaiv
Hey, AVP was pretty good. Just because Aliens and Predators are classic sci-fi thriller figures. Oh, and that whole 360-degree-spin-Head-Impalation thingy was pretty cool. Along with the Alien Decapitation. Let's hope they never make a Metroid movie, even though I fear it may be too late. [some one bought the rights, again. There has been no dialogue in ANY Metroid game. Ever. Excepting Metroid Fusion. How are you supposed to make a movie with no dialogue?] P.S. Starcraft would make an awesome movie, provided that the directing and acting is good. DreamOfTheRood
Ahh, you're right. It was Uwe Boll who bought the Metroid rights. Frankly, the only way you could pull off a Metroid film would be to have the storyline loosely follow that of Super Metroid on the SNES: a revenge film to get back the Metroid from Mother Brain, slightly a la Kill Bill. 360-degree-spin-impalation = TOTALLY AWESOME.Frankly, I just loved this film. Slaiv
People in the theatre were clapping when that happened. People were yelling "EAT THAT, B*TCH!" whenever someone/something died. ^_^

Slaiv
It wasn't always in the Antarctic, genius. Didn't you pay attention? The Predators built it [well, they taught humans how to build it] way back when. It wasn't covered in ice. It was like, central-America weather. Besides, do you actually want to watch the whole 24 hours of the team slowly going down? Or would you rather it be shortened into a 5 minute period?
