Download FOMM

Run FOMM

Tick any mods you want to work.

Make sure your mods are in Your Fallout 3/Data directory.

It doesn't get any simpler than that.

ok but where do the meshes and textures go? also the ESP file i have no idea where to put that except maybe in the data folder

Everything goes in the data folder. If there is an .esp it goes in data. If there are included textures or meshes those folders go in data also.

Well constructed mods will unpack with the proper structure already in place.

To get mods to work at all the line

bInvalidateOlderFiles=1

must be in your fallout.ini (the one in my documents/my games, not program files)

I don't know if fomm will make that change or if you still need to do that yourself.
