Thor.
Its not called the nra box for nothing.i can't find that funny unboxing gif :confused:Also the ps4 is far more powerful then once previously thought, they found a secondary processor and a extra 2gb of ram. http://n4g.com/news/1394969/playstation-4-secondary-processor-and-2gb-ram-discovered-video-discussion HAA in your face xbone. Favoring Kinect over performance  , at least you could of done what Sony did. the ps4 technically now has 10gb of ram. Mystery processor is still unknown. crosses fingers that its the new arm chip they just announced. http://www.extremetech.com/computing/171362-qualcomm-announces-the-snapdragon-805-an-arm-chip-ready-for-a-4k-world The arm cortex cpu is catching up with amd. That would make sense to offload video processing to the cpu if its something inline with that particular cpu. So in a sense Nvidia hasn't lost out on the next gen consoles to a point, maybe the xbone, still up in the air on that. Edited November 20, 2013 by Thor. The Arm processor is interesting, maybe that's for background or standby stuff? they use next to no power.
Werne
It's 2 gigabits not 2 gigabytes, still handy through. The Arm processor is interesting, maybe that's for background or standby stuff? they use next to no power. I believe that's for the light stuff, when you're not playing games and doing something else. That ARM CPU and 256MB RAM would be enough to run a simple GUI and a few programs. That way the console would heat up much less and draw less power overall if not gaming, and they can transfer background processed to the secondary CPU and RAM while the Jaguar and GDDR5 run the game stuff, less interference with background processes and more CPU cycles delivered to the game itself. But I don't know what's so new about it, the secondary ARM CPU was mentioned in the official PS4 strip-down (you know, when that Sony engineer took it apart to show the guts). I don't find it surprising at all since it's old news.
Thor.
Ps4 is officially winning the war over xbone, and if you're not aware psn network wide password reset, suspicious activity. All hail Sony, take down the xbone, its your duty, and birth right lol. http://www.nowgamer.com/news/2174398/ps4_winning_the_war_against_xbox_one_retailers.html Edited November 26, 2013 by Thor. JimboUK
I tried the Xbone controller yesterday, it's nowhere near as good as the 360 one, the shoulder buttons are awkward and the triggers are spongy. I won't be buying one for the PC.
Thor.
Good call, the one thing about pc, at least it doesn't go obsolete like consoles do. 30 years later you could be using it still, as long it still works with usb.
JimboUK
Maybe we'll get some decent drivers for the PS4 controller? that looks a huge improvement over the god awful PS3 ones.
Vagrant0
Maybe we'll get some decent drivers for the PS4 controller? that looks a huge improvement over the god awful PS3 ones. Reportedly there are already decent 3rd party drivers available, and Sony has plans on releasing official drivers in the near future.

Thor.
Bad news maybe for the Xbox division. Microsoft appointed a new head to the Xbox division, and the person in question might not be the best choice. http://www.extremetech.com/extreme/177245-microsoft-appoints-chief-nokia-wrecker-stephen-elop-to-head-xbox-division Will this be the doom of the xbox??? I figured i would post this here, sense the on going conversation. Also sense when did Jim_Uk become moderator, congrats to your upgrade  Edited February 27, 2014 by Thor.
