Mass Effect 3 Dumb questions about Legendary Edition

Sorry about dumb questions but I have always bought games as a single game.

Will legendary edition be three separate games or will they be just one long game. (after you beat Saren, you progress into ME2)?

I bought my games through Origin and not sure if I should uninstall them before I buy the game I know that the DLC's that I bought

will not work.

I know that it will take awhile for mods for the game, but that is okay. The only mod that would concern me now is that I use mods that

allow controller support. I play with PC and XBOX 1 controller. Since this is 2021, I hope that they will include support for a controller.

Has anyone heard about this?

Legendary Edition will be three separate games unified under a single launcher. Controller support will be built in to all three games on PC.
