luls
I installed a simple clothing mod the other day that comes in two colors: black and white. The black variant works, but for the white one the textures fail to load every time (instead I get that horrifying lightish purple color). I've checked the structure and contents of the mod's files and they seem to be in order, and I can see that the .dds file for the white variant does exist -- it's just, for whatever reason, it will not show up in-game, and I have no idea why that might be. What might be causing that problem, and how can it be rectified?
luls
The exact mod is here, by the way. Forgot to upload it in the OP.
camaro_69_327
DO both files have the exact same name?....a lot of texture replacers are a "pick one" type of thing. Both choices will have the same name. but you can only have one active at a time.
luls
They don't; they have different names indicating their respective color. For instance, tanktop_black.dds is the black one, and tanktop.dds is (what would be) the white one.
luls
Still haven't been able to figure this out, and I have absolutely no leads. Even opening up the texture file in a photo editor shows that it isn't just blank, so I really don't know why it wouldn't be showing up in-game while the black texture does.
