  1. As far as I can tell, the BodySlide wiki doesn't cover this, and I haven't found a guide on this topic anywhere else either. I see that there's New Slider option in Outfit Studio. I can select that, then create the shape I want using the brushes... but then what's the next step to actually integrate the new slider into BodySlide and the game itself?
  2. Still haven't been able to figure this out, and I have absolutely no leads. Even opening up the texture file in a photo editor shows that it isn't just blank, so I really don't know why it wouldn't be showing up in-game while the black texture does.
  3. They don't; they have different names indicating their respective color. For instance, tanktop_black.dds is the black one, and tanktop.dds is (what would be) the white one.
  4. The exact mod is here, by the way. Forgot to upload it in the OP.
  5. I installed a simple clothing mod the other day that comes in two colors: black and white. The black variant works, but for the white one the textures fail to load every time (instead I get that horrifying lightish purple color). I've checked the structure and contents of the mod's files and they seem to be in order, and I can see that the .dds file for the white variant does exist -- it's just, for whatever reason, it will not show up in-game, and I have no idea why that might be. What might be causing that problem, and how can it be rectified?
  6. Shoot... so is there any way at all to save my modified .esp and .esm files while I still have them installed, or am I completely out of luck? Ugh, I spent probably over five hours renaming so many mod items before realizing that they didn't retain those modifications permanently. And for future reference, what exactly would be the best way to go about renaming items and making other simple changes like that? I don't even know how else I'd go about modifying .esp and .esm files without TES5Edit.
  7. So there's a few mod items I've been renaming using TES5Edit just for the sake of keeping things better organized in-game. But I just noticed that if I uninstall the mod whose items I had renamed, then reinstall it, TES5Edit seems to forget that I ever renamed it in the first place. Say I had an item that was originally called 'Armor 1' and I changed its name to 'Armor 2' using TES5Edit. Uninstalling and reinstalling that mod would reset its name back to 'Armor 1' -- which makes all my work for naught if I ever uninstall anything I've renamed. So why isn't TES5Edit saving my name edits permanently? Is there something else I need to do that I'm missing?
  8. Additionally, is it the names within the ESP itself that I'd be editing? (Oh god, I feel so braindead.)
  9. Did some experimenting with TES5Edit. Do I just Edit -> Change Value? And does it make a difference if both armor mods use the same ESP? (Am I totally misunderstanding this?)
  10. How, exactly? I do already have TES5Edit installed, but thus far I've only used it to test for mod conflicts. How would I use it to rename items?
  11. This question probably sounds extremely stupid. Forgive me for that. So I have two versions of an armor mod (each for different body types), and I'd like to have both installed at the same time. The problem is, both versions have exactly the same names, so installing one causes it to completely overwrite the other. I would imagine that renaming one of the sets of armor would resolve this issue (forgive me for being so ignorant and inexperienced)... but what exactly is the most efficient way to go about doing that if there are many pieces of armor to worry about? I'm sure there's a few different ways to do this. Perhaps it's possible to just rename the .nif and .dds files themselves (or maybe that wouldn't work for some reason, I don't know for sure), but that would take forever. Any help would be appreciated.
  12. I just accidentally reported a post when I had intended to reply (the 'report' button in locked topics happens to be where I've come to expect the 'reply' button to be on other forums). Just a heads up in case any mods come across a report from me that seems nonsensical. Forgive my dimwittedness.
  13. Let's say I want to install some arbitrary mod that isn't compatible with NMM, like this recent one for example: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/34497 If I were to install that mod as the author instructs, would there be any easy way for me to uninstall it, short of manually deleting its files? Would even a manually installed mod show up in Skyrim's Data Files such that I could check or uncheck whether or not I wanted it activated? Thanks.
