Mattiewagg
Personally I found quest design/dialogue to hurt me head and would be nice to have a similar thread for level designers seeking quest designers. Or perhaps having the two in one thread. I have been seeking one for awhile. Cool idea anyway. Think it would be ideal to have them both in the same place as they fit in the same place. More publicity and both types looking to work on existing projects aren't very common I would presume. That's speculation however. I am a level designer and I like to make towns. I understand every element of the creation kit except quest, script writing and dialogue. Ebonvale is my only notable project but I would like to work with someone who would be able to add functionality and character to my designs. I've played Ebonvale. It's great, by the way. So I'll add a quest designers part to this thread, and see if I can't get the name changed.

Mattiewagg
Good stuff man. I'll be keeping any eye out.Still, it'll probably be a little until any actual level designers or quest designers submit their resumes. I'm a quest designer/scripter myself, but I'm workin on another project right now. Which is part of the issue, it seems. We're all working on our own separate, massive projects. Mattiewagg
I'm going to start gathering some resources that can help quest designers and level designers start up and improve, as well as some of my own personal tips. You can find the resources in the first post.
Mattiewagg
OK. I added a bunch more resources. On a separate note, I know there are a bunch of level designers out there. A lot of you are making mods that are huge and great with tons of new interiors and worldspaces, but no custom quests or anything. And there are a lot of people who are just beginning level design. As they say, practice makes perfect. If you help out with some people, you can begin to learn how to correct your mistakes. There may be a bit of back and forth in the beginning, but soon you'll get a lot better.
Mattiewagg
Just because somebody hasn't submitted a resume does not mean that there aren't prospective level designers visiting this thread. If you're looking for a level designer, you should post - your request might get picked up. Mine did.
icecreamassassin
Name: Icecreamassassin Last Updated: July 2014 Active Member: I check pm's and forums several times a day Strengths: I am able to create long quests, short quests, variants dependent on conditions, scenes, battles, dialog, sequenced events and more. Only thing I have not delved into is radiant content. As a scripter I'm skilled at dynamically altering vanilla resources to ensure compatibility and resilience of mod content being created Experience: I've undertaken several small mod projects in oblivion and skyrim as well as two rather large and involved mods I could only class as "expansion level" work with a major theme and several quests around a central quest line. In particular was. "Imperial bank of cyrodiil" for oblivion and "legacy of the dragonborn" for skyrim Skills: I'm a moderate level scripter who can usually figure out how to make something work with a little help and research. I'm very creative at applying non-conventional effects and events into quests. I can use quests as "tasks" for the player as well as mere dialog holders as well as using them as dynamic and sometimes complex function handlers for other functions in the mod. I'm also capible of creating equipment with dynamic magical and scripted effects which far exceed standard enchantment options, also can fully level scale items without multiple references. I can also fully handle all facets of dialog engineering from chopping dialog files, remastering, installing into the mod and matching character animations to the dialog (lip sync in still having some issues with but should have it sorted soon). Can handle complex AI package structures and force greets Other Details: I'm neck deep in a major project with a couple amazing level designers but wouldn't mind helping out with some short quest content or doing some in depth work with single characters. I'm doing this because I'm saving time since a lot of my heavy level design work is being done by others so I wanna contribute my skills to others projects a bit Sample: see legacy of the dragonborn (dragonborn gallery) and imperial bank of cyrodiil both on my file list.
