It only removes the 1024Kbps cap placed on non-Premium accounts, and provides access to servers that might be less busy than others. But if you're not reaching 1Mbps, having a Premium account won't improve that and no one here ever said it would. It does help keep the Nexus on-line in the first place. :thumbsup: (Oh, and NO ADS!) I tried to download the Nexus Download Diagnoser but got a 404 error. takain256 Posted August 27, 2015 Share Posted August 27, 2015 Getting not found on the diagnoser.Anyway i have 15mb (DF, Brazil) , usually my download speed is 1800+ kb/s without caps , in the nexus manager i can't even get close to the 1024 kb/s cap , staying in ~20kb/s , before i tried to download a huge mod (1gb) it was better, a whole 100kb/s ! Even tried the "Dowload fix/tweaks" option in the settings ,without any effect .A few years ago i tried to use the nexus manager in skyrim , the same absurd slow speeds , just dumped it and stayed with what i could get on steamworkshop . Zazulio Posted August 30, 2015 Share Posted August 30, 2015 Here to report crippling download speeds (30-60 kb/s) despite no apparent internet issues on my end. The official Nexus diagnoser tool in the original post is showing a 404 on the download link, but my speedtest results are showing that I have a 20+ mb/s download rate. Not all files are having issues, just certain ones. For example, I'm trying to download the NMC texture overhaul for Fallout New Vegas, and Parts 2 and 3 of the large file are downloading without issue, but Part 1 is at the crippled rate. The same is the case for the Medium and Small file packs. I really hope we can find a solution to this soon. I have had to download the mods through chrome instead of MO because they seem to stop completely on MO. Been downloading for hours. You guys ever consider switching to p2p torrent downloading?
