That's like every part of making the mod. If you're going to be making the mod, what will YOU be contributing to this mod? And what makes this mod interesting enough that people should WANT to help? Tell us your idea but ultimately tell us what you're going to do and what your skills are.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, lol that's the core of mod making there. Look for tutorials on all that stuff and start making the mod, then ask people how to do X Y and Z and you'll get lots of help, but to get a crew of folks to work with you to build a mod, you need to be able to do some aspect of most of the above list or at least understand how to implement it. And if it's a big project, having some examples of your work is helpful to getting folks behind you

That's completely untrue Kerberus, look at the large project teams which have a good chunk for folks working together on a project, those folks were recruited as volunteers to help with the project (my project included, I've gotten a handful of people to help out with one task or another). My point was that if he can prove he knows what he's doing, more folks would be more likely to want to help out, but of course those people need to know the specifics of the project before anything else.

Chelliebellie; I'd suggest checking out the voice actors of skyrim post on the main skyrim page, and post a detailed character profile of what you are looking for voice acting for and you may get some responders. As for " Getting a weapon into your game " do you mean creating a mesh or do you mean merely implementing it into the game? You can easily get help with advice on HOW to do it by posting a specific question then the response would help you learn to do now and in the future.

I came into Skyrim modding after having done Oblivion modding, but knew NOTHING about papyrus and taught myself from the ground up, along with tons of other skills, all learned by watching tutorials, reading guides, trial and error and asking specific questions on the mod forum here, and I highly recommend you do the same rather than waiting for folks to step up and help by doing, cuz they are more likely to help by telling and showing

Even if you had 50 mods done nobody from here will help you directly, go learn by yourself and do it by yourself.

Entirely false. No one will help you if you've never made a mod and they're not all that interested in the idea/or the topic passes under the radar. Walls of text do very little - pictures (eye candy), a short and concise description and progress report work. A bunch of scripts and words is nothing people are interested in, and it won't garner you a team.

So, having made several successful mods before helps. Having an idea people are interested in is key. People noticing the topic is key. People seeing you have made progress if you're a not a well known mod author or knowledgeable forum poster is very key.

Your bad experience doesn't make it everyone's, Kerberus. I'm sorry that WAS your experience but claiming no projects get teams is entirely false when contrary evidence is all around you.

@OP

So you're going to write the script for the VAs. Not too hard. You say you've already done stuff. Specifically, what is this stuff?
