TotallyAsian Posted June 13, 2015 Share Posted June 13, 2015 So Steam summer sale, so I'm thinking about purchasing DLC (Dawnguard, etc)... but I have over 200 mods installed. My first question is will the DLC mess with my mods so that my game won't work? If so, is there a workaround that I can do so I can make this process as smooth as possible? Thanks in advance. There is a chance that there are some conflicts that arise between your mods and the dlc, but that would be on a mod by mod basis. If your game plays the Bethesda logo then crashes, there is something wrong. Then I could just explain to Steam and ask for a refund?worst case your game will break and you will have to restart everything. this is very unlikely though. best case little to nothing will change and you will be able to play with just minor hardly noticeable issues (essentially what you already have now) and this is the likely thing to happen. my semi-professional opinion states that you should buy them and install them, and enjoy them. though you may need a save cleaner, you can find one in my signature; i have been informed that it is a good one.
