bben46 Posted January 28, 2012 Share Posted January 28, 2012 There is no simple way to make Skyrim mods. Most of the tools now being used were adapted from other games. Beth is supposed to release their Construction Kit for making Skyrim mods next week, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Most of what you see now as 'Mods' are really just saved games or recolor (texture) of an existing in game object. There are a few available made by some people who are experienced in adapting software, but not many. Most of the real mods will be coming out after the CK (construction kit) is released. huntsman2310 Posted January 29, 2012 Share Posted January 29, 2012 Blender (is free)or 3DS max are generally the most common programs used for modelling. GIMP (is free)or Photoshop are used for creating or editing textures. Nifskope is used to put it all together. And finally the Creation Kit (or its equivalent from other games.) is used to edit the stats and put it ingame. Please don't ask me to provide links. Google it.
