SubjectProphet Posted April 16, 2012 Share Posted April 16, 2012 After allowing Steam to patch my Skyrim to 1.5 by setting the task manager to unblock it and using my firewall to let it open, I went to launch Skyrim when Steam began to go nuts. I opened the launcher and hit "play" and after a several minutes, a popup appears from Steam saying that I couldn't play this game in offline mode. Well, first of all, I'm online, not offline, second of all, I actually CAN play Skyrim offline, and third of all, I have NEVER seen this message. So I retry it. This time, it opens, and I load my game, and BAM, the game closes and I get the popup from Steam AGAIN. So I figured, well, third time's a charm, and when I hit play, immediatly the error appeared. So I block Steam again, but mysteriously, it SOMEHOW still runs and I STILL get the popup. Any help here? Please? The ONLY mods I have are CBBEv3, several armor mods, and Static Mesh improved.
