Hey there! Well, I thought it would be a cute idea if I Skyrimified a few Christmas songs for the more festive Skyrim players out there! So, here's four Christmas songs, Skyrim style. I'll try to do more before Christmas gets here. Pick your favorite version of the tunes, and sing along! :)

STORMCLOAK JINGLE BELLS

-------------------------------------------------------------

Jingle boots, jingle boots, jingle all the way!

Oh, what fun it is to march across the land all day! Hey!

Jingle boots, jingle boots, jingle all the way!

Oh, what fun it is to march across the land all day!

Trudging through the snow, over Whiterun way,

Through farmers’ fields they go, mooching every day!

Flags wave above the ranks, keeping spirits high,

Since the next encounter with Imperials is nigh!

Oh, jingle boots, jingle boots, jingle all the way!

Oh, what fun it is to march across the land all day! Hey!

Jingle boots, jingle boots, jingle all the way!

Oh, what fun it is to march across the land all day!

About a fortnight back, they passed through Windhelm’s gates,

Clad in their uniforms, towing their supply crates.

The wagons creaked and groaned, their frames misfortune’s slough,

For every couple hours, there’d be a wheel snapping off!

Oh, jingle boots, jingle boots, jingle all the way!

Oh, what fun it is to march across the land all day! Hey!

Jingle boots, jingle boots, jingle all the way!

Oh, what fun it is to march across the land all day!

SKYRIM “DECK THE HALLS”

----------------------------------------------------------

Deck the halls with battle axes! Fa la la la la la, la la la la

Polished with the finest waxes!, Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Don we now our festive armors! Fa la la, la la la, la la la.

Singing with the bards. What charmers! Fa la la la la, la la la la.

See the roaring fires amid us! Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Strum the lute and sing now with us! Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Gather ‘round to hear the pleasures, fa la la, la la la, la la la.

From hearing of Nordic treasures! Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Now the new year is nigh, surely! Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Greet it joyfully, boys and girlies! Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Feast we mirthfully with our friends! Fa la la, la la la, la la la.

Laughing off the chills Winter sends! Fa la la la la, la la la la.

DOVAKHIIN “JOY TO THE WORLD”

Joy to Skyrim! The Dragonborn,

Has rendered Alduin dead!

Let every tongue sing praises to

The savior of its head,

The savior of its head,

The savior, the savior, of its head!

Joy to Skyrim! The dragons flee

And minstrels spread the word!

While forests, mountains, tundras, and fields

Echo the joyous chord,

Echo the joyous chord,

Echo, echo, the joyous chord!

Let all our minds, be put at ease,

And make our spirits blithe!

He comes with Voice, to end all foes

As crops before a scythe,

As crops before a scythe,

As crops, as crops, before a scythe!

He cloaks the land in holy law,

And all the province loves

The bulwark of his Dragon soul

And noble use thereof,

And noble use thereof,

And noble, noble, use thereof!

SKYRIM “WINTER WONDERLAND”

Wolves are howling, horses prancing.

In the sky, lights are dancing.

Exciting to see

As we creep stealthily,

Treading in a Nordic wonderland.

Ruins coaxing us to enter.

For the treasure at their centers.

Armors, potions, and gems,

Weapons, and diadems,

Treading in a Nordic wonderland.

In the tundra, we can hunt some big game,

Such as the mammoths giants keep.

Though we’ll try hard, it’s always the same.

The giants make us scamper just like sheep.

Then maybe later, on the north coast,

We can cook up some horker roast.

And perhaps a dish

From the slaughterfish,

Treading in a Nordic wonderland.

In the tundra, we can battle dragons,

Even though we both lack the Voice.

And after, at the tavern, in our flagons,

Well reminisce about the daring choice!

‘Cross the mountains, through the valleys,

Through the caves, and shipwrecked galleys,

We’re fated to roam

Our wintery home,

Treading in a Nordic wonderland!

SKYRIM “We Three Kings”

We three Skyrim delvers reprise

A treasure each that commands our drives.

Lustrous vices, lofty prices,

Down in the ruins they lie.

O, loot beyond the ruin’s maw,

Loot kept safe by spell and claw,

So reclusive, and elusive,

Free of even the slightest flaw.

Gold alone enraptures my gaze,

Resting smugly down in a maze.

Icy, earthen, manmade, Dwarven,

I’ve crept through all in my days.

O, loot beyond the ruin’s maw,

Loot kept safe by spell and claw,

So reclusive, and elusive,

Free of even the slightest flaw.

Gemstones of any color or grade,

Alone or sewn into silk or brocade.

Twinkling facets, sparkling assets,

Blink their visual serenade.

O, loot beyond the ruin’s maw,

Loot kept safe by spell and claw,

So reclusive, and elusive,

Free of even the slightest flaw.

Weapons of any model or girth

Please my eyes and fill me with mirth.

Long or stunted, sharp or blunted,

Even ranged ones have their worth.

O, loot beyond the ruin’s maw,

Loot kept safe by spell and claw,

So reclusive, and elusive,

Free of even the slightest flaw.

Constantly we slip through their walls,

Seeking still their bountiful halls,

Restless plunder, deeply under,

When we’re not busy with brawls.

O, loot beyond the ruin’s maw,

Loot kept safe by spell and claw,

So reclusive, and elusive,

Free of even the slightest flaw.
