Hmm... Favorite Characters? Alright, let's see...

 

Starcraft universe: Fenix.

 

Fenix was really under-done, and had very little involvement in the series, as he died near the middle of the protoss campaign in Brood War. You start with him in your party after the... Third mission, I believe? Where he's chosen to set up a new camp in the name of the empire. (Entaro Adun!) His speaking lines were always filled with that fighting spirit, and he was a utilitarian - something the game lacks greatly. He could pilot a Dragoon as well as fight hand-to-hand as a Zealot.

 

Breakdown: Dereck (Derek?) Cole.

 

Derek Cole is the main protagonist of a cult classic known as Breakdown, released by Namco in 2004. Yeah, before it got merged with Bandai. He's an ordinary guy until a good hour into the game, when he first realizes he can fight these new beings called the T'lan. It's very simple at first - he can't do anything but rely on his wit and hand-to-hand. As you progress through the game, you end up gaining these bad-ass powers, such as being able to pause time and fly into enemies with a jump-kick, or charge up and fire off a massive pulse ball. He has multiple lines of dialogue, which you get to choose at points in the game, which makes it a little more immersive than usual. Other than these cutscenes though, he's a silent protagonist. Anyone who remembers this game, you should understand this. Slide, Uppercut. That is all. :D

 

Warcraft Universe: Uther Lightbringer.

 

Being the advisor for Arthas's Dad, the King, as well as Arthas's personal teacher, Uther was a paladin of badass proportions. He played major roles, such as curing plagues, purifying landscapes, and slaying hordes of orcs that had been driven mad by demons. Also, he's a badass with a Warhammer in both hands and a book at his waist. Intellectual killing machines FTW.
