I have an AMD HD 6950 - 2GB that is slightly overclocked and like my little user title suggests, I am a total mod sl!t :P I have replaced nearly every single Vanilla texture with a 2K or even 4K res. replacement, then add to that crafting mods and unofficial patches and landscape additions and houses and... you get the idea :P I am getting 60 (some stuttering in certain places) FPS with maxed-out Ultra settings and 1920x1080 resolution. Unfortunately for me I had to uninstall "Forested Skyrim" and "Warzones" because the extra load was too much and my game would freeze-crash or CTD or get the Infinite Load bug ... making saves about 12 MB even though I had only completed the Greybeards quest :O Even now I get stuttering 45 - 60 FPS, but it's bearable ^^ Without including the HD textures... I for one cannot wait to get my hands on this! I didn't even know it had been released :3 But I am in agreement that this is going to help and bring so much modding potential -- one thing that disappoints me is that we have been wanting this for ages and... only now do we get it :/ One mod that did shock me from pre-DLC times was "A Dragon Ride" that "fixed" Odahviing to be able to act like a follower and take you to all the major cities on his back (awesome mod)... I hope this can do that... but with mounts!

bump :) I am also having weird animation problems... even before Dawnguard. I believe FNIS is to blame :( - Sometimes my char. acts like he is holding his weapon, but isn't, need to quick-save quick-load and he can finally properly draw the weapon. crossbows are weirdly buggy - right-click does weird things.... VERY buggy kill-cams with crossbow... when mounting a horse, I look like a circus freak! I'm stood-up on it! :(

getting this too... the whole transformation process looks really damn buggy from my point of view.... unlike the werewolf where you transform straight away, it takes me like 20 seconds to transform into a VL, during this time I cannot go into 1st person view, I can still attack and stuff.... - then reverting back, I end up naked...

are you using a custom race? - because those are really bugged. there's a fix on the nexus for that :)

if that happens, if you don't mind doing so, then open the console " ` " then click on the door and type " unlock " - the door will now open.

Bump - I randomly have this glitch now and I don't know why :(

I made a custom .NIF file to try out in-game and in the end I named it so it would overwrite the current Iron Greatsword model. In-game it shows a massive red pentagon with a huge white exclamation mark in it, and my weapon seems to have lost it's texture. What I need to know is, how do I make a new texture for this custom model, is it done in 3DS Max with a certain command? And how do I make the shaders work correctly on my newly added objects? If I need to upload anything please tell me.

I would have liked to have played as the Thalmor, but no choice is given there. It seems there are only really 2 factions to join which is a real shame; Imperial or Stormcloak. If they had given the player the choice to talk to everybody it might have been a much better game (in terms of role-playing). Don't get me wrong the game is really good and I love it but there could of been so much more. Imagine... you get captured and choose to join the Thalmor who kill both Empire and Stormcloaks. You contract Sanguine Vampiris and then join a Vampire Revolution or you fight with the Dova for a Skyrim where humans and Dragons live side-by-side..... so many possibilities. Just hope that this gets done by modders.

That's what I was going to say. Dual-Wield a weapon (sword) with 210 damage then add on 3-word Elemental Fury + Dual-Wield speed perk, you can attack at light 5 swings a second, it is absolutely mental!

Race Argonian: Level 100 Heavy Armor, One-handed, two-handed. level 100 restoration and conjuration. level 100 sneak and pickpocket, makes a beast of a champ that never ever dies.

Following On From The Title, I Find It Strange That Ancient Nord Swords Are The Most Powerful In The Game. A Daedric Sword, After I Make It Legendary Will Do About 310 Damage. An Ancient Nord Sword Or Ancient Honed Sword Will Do About 450 - 500 Points Of Damage After Made Legendary. Why Do They Do More Damage Than Anything Else? And Also What Do You Find Strange In Skyrim?
