CTD Entering Museum of Freedom

My game seemed to be fine, then I tried to enter the Museum of Freedom. I tried using FO4Edit to narrow down the problem but the only thing that modded the Museum was 'NAI - Natural and Atmosheric Interiors". I dont know what the issue is and would like to pin down the problem, hopefully someone can point me in the right directiom

Unfortunately no, I did try that and I never had a problem with NAI prior to this either which is confusing. I recently had to replace my graphics card (went from AMD to Nvidia) but the one I purchased is a 4gb card but didnt realize it does not have the 6pin power connector until I installed it, should've read the reviews first smh. Anyway, it feels like it slacks a bit because of that, I dont know if that would cause the ctd or maybe its something else

If your card wants a six pin connector, and doesn't have it, yes, that IS going to be an issue. You could smoke that card trying to run it like that.

Looking at it, no, it doesn't require any additional power connectors..... That is indeed kinda surprising for a 1650...... but, it also only requires a 300 watt power supply.... So, I guess it's no needed. Wild. :D

 

Is the game aware you have a different vid card? Not sure how much of an issue it is, but, when I change cards, I tend to delete all my ini files, and run the Fallout 4 Launcher once, just for it to re-check things, and figger it out. (but, I don't launch the game from there, as I use F4SE....)

Sorry for the late reply. I think I did narrow down the mod being the problem: "Big Junk Redux" by LeahTheUnknown/GenghisKhanX. I uninstalled that, started a new game, now my game works fine, mostly. It did just CTD earlier today followed by Windows 7 message "Change Color Scheme" popup. I think the graphics card I got is limited in its capabilities and gets throttled easily. I bought it to replace my AMD that went bad, thought I'd go the NVidia route this time. Should've read the reviews first but, live and learn, right? Anyway, I appreciate the help. I used to see the 'change color scheme' message when I was running windows 7, and exited out of the game, (or, the game crashed...) haven't seen that one on 10 though. But, my game doesn't crash all that often either. In fact, it's quite rare.
