Black texture bug (ram issue?)

So first of all here are my specs

I7-6700

Gtx 1070 superclocked w/ 8gb

8gb of memory in ddr4

Plenty of storage

Now the problem I have is this, whenever I use mods like skyrim flora overhaul and verdant, the game completely freaks out and makes everything black and then usually after it crashes. I've tried ssme and the memory fix. I'm using this guys load order - https://youtu.be/M47Fq38anUM

Which I should be able to run fine with my specs. Can someone help me out because I really am in a jams and have been for the past few weeks trying to figure this out.

I would re-install at this point (or at least verify game integrity through steam) and start a new profile in MO. Try slowly building up your mods (I usually install a few mods - and test play 5min - rinse repeat) And LOOT so you can see what it does.

Especially if you are learning installing in batches is the way to go. First time I started modding I just downloaded everything and thought it would run... ah sweet summer child I was.

ive been modding for about five years and yeah, it also happens without verdant and sfo on so i will be reinstalling and starting over, for like the tenth time... maybe i should manually install them?

Nah, you can use the the managers, makes live a lot easier. Maybe use MO. Just know that some mods wont like eachother. For instance, convenient horses? Its quite script heavy and caused problems all of the time with other mods.

And settle on a modlist, dont add or change anything once you start your playthrough. You could also share your modlist for others to look at.

I followed predcalibers mod list, and added a lot of other mods after it and everything is working fine ; )
