capella6707 Posted June 15, 2018 Share Posted June 15, 2018 Yesterday I started Vortex for the first time in about a month. I got the notification that there was an update so I started it. However it crashed when it tried to restart. I reported the crash, but now, there is no Vortex.exe. As far as I can tell, the rest of the installation folder is intact, although I'm not exactly very familiar with what should be in there, but I'm assuming any given update would just replace the exe and a few other supporting libraries and files, depending on what's been changed. I'm thinking I should be okay just downloading the install file, and reinstalling from that should retain all of my settings, but I wanted to check here first to see if anyone might foresee any issues I might experience.
