I use the nexus mod manager load the mod and activate this mod. then comes a message (Could not find PCBANKS \ MODS folder The PCBANKS \ MODS folder is required for mods to run) But as I have seen the Nexus mod manager created this mods folder and installed this mod in the folder. but if I started no mans sky then this mod is not in the game. I would be very grateful if someone can explain to me in detail. Oh just for info. I use the Steam version of No mans sky Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
shdwphnx Posted August 8, 2018 Share Posted August 8, 2018 If you have not already done so, you will need to manually rename or delete the "No Man's Sky\GAMEDATA\PCBANKS\DisableMods.txt" file. If you are using the actual "Nexus Mod Manager" (does that actually work with No Man's Sky? I was not aware of that), then that will likely resolve your issue.If you are using Nexus's "Vortex Mod Manager" (which is what I personally am using), you will need to click Deploy for Vortex to copy your mods from it's MODS staging folder to the actual MODS folder used by No Man's Sky. I need it because of a stupid mistake...Just do a file integrity check and Steam will automatically download the file for you.
