  1. I am wondering the same and created this thread in the hopes of getting an answer.
  2. What happened to the "Toggle Tooltips And Hide Looted Containers" mod? It is the only mod I have found that hides looted containers, and that is a feature I greatly desire. The page for it says "This mod is under moderation review (since 23 Aug 2023, 12:21AM )". If it was a question of someone thinking they stole code from another Toggle Tooltips mod, I would expect a couple minutes with WinMerge or similar would be enough to decide whether or not that was the case, yet it has been over a week now.
  3. Sounds like your "deep space" mod may be for an older version of No Man's Sky and is not compatible with the current version. If the mod creator has not updated it, then you may not be able to use that mod any longer. If you can provide a link to the mod download, someone may be able to suggest a similar, newer mod (if there is one).
  4. Yes, it is the same mod listed as broken every time. Is there a way to manually remove the entry?
  5. Every time I try to launch Vortex, I get the following error message in a pop-up window... [Window Title] Vortex [Content] Application state is invalid. I can try to repair it but you may lose data [Quit] [Ignore] [Repair] Choosing Quit exits Vortex (as I would expect). Choosing Repair lets me in and everything appears to be working correctly. Choosing Ignore lets me in and everything appears to be working correctly IF the mod shown below is not installed - when that mod is installed, Vortex shows the version selection drop down on that mod as if I have multiple version installed even though I do not (aside from that, everything again appears to work correctly). I am currently running Vortex 0.16.1 on Windows 10, although this error has been occurring since at least 0.15.9.%AppData%\Vortex\vortex.log shows the following related to this error... Tue, 04 Sep 2018 04:38:01 GMT - warn: invalid state path=.persistent.mods, archiveId=AY23zEHiZ, author=MeatSafeMurderer, bugMessage=, category=9, description=[img=https://i.imgur.com/Cp50CF2.jpg] <br />This mod vastly improves water rendering near the coast. In the base game the water just abruptly...stops...with no fade or transition. This results in an ugly mess, especially up close. I've added a smooth transition to avoid this visual ugliness. I've greatly decreased the amount of foam to avoid the ugly whiteout at certain angles as well as water and foam now being affected by lighting causing them to change with the passage of time. In addition waves now ebb and flow, gently lapping the shoreline, adding an extra element of much needed realism to an already beautiful game. <br /> <br />Current version: <br />1.1 <br /> <br />Compatible game version: <br />NEXT 1.57 <br /> <br />Files modified: <br />SHADERS\CODE\CUSTOM\WATERRAYTRACEFRAGMENT.SHADER.H.BIN <br /> <br />[img=https://i.imgur.com/REPK864.jpg], downloadGame=nomanssky, fileId=3575, fileName=Coastal Waters-803-1-1.zip, fileSize=6502, fileType=MAIN, homepage=https://www.nexusmods.com/nomanssky/mods/803/, isPrimary=false, logicalFileName=Coastal Waters, modId=803, newestFileId=3575, pictureUrl=https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/1634/images/803/803-1534858512-1721848679.png, shortDescription=Vastly improves water rendering on the coast with a smooth transition and waves lapping the shore., source=nexus, uploadedTimestamp=1534973178, version=1.1, key=installationPath, type=string, noUndefined=true, noNull=true, required=true, deleteBroken=parent I have completely uninstalled the mod mentioned in that log, including removing the archive file for it - however, the error continues to occur. Re-downloading & reinstalling the mod using the "mod manager download" link on Nexus, and downloading it manually then adding it into Vortex have no effect on the issue. I am sure there is a corrupt entry in a config file somewhere, but I have been unable to locate that file. Anyone have any suggestions, or do I need to completely remove & reinstall Vortex itself to try and fix this?
  6. If you have not already done so, you will need to manually rename or delete the "No Man's Sky\GAMEDATA\PCBANKS\DisableMods.txt" file. If you are using the actual "Nexus Mod Manager" (does that actually work with No Man's Sky? I was not aware of that), then that will likely resolve your issue. If you are using Nexus's "Vortex Mod Manager" (which is what I personally am using), you will need to click Deploy for Vortex to copy your mods from it's MODS staging folder to the actual MODS folder used by No Man's Sky.
  7. Not 100% what you described, but check out Less damaged slots on crashed ships.
  8. I believe you are looking for Unlimited Tech Stacking.
  9. Most likely, yes. To find out, move everything out of your Mods folder to another location somewhere, delete the DisableMods.txt and see if you still crash. If you do not, move the files back to your Mods folder one at a time, testing after each one. The last file you moved before crashing is your bad mod. Note: You may have more than one bad mod.
  10. I would love to see a mod which changes the quick save function so it uses the standard save naming syntax. IE: You hit F5 and get incrementing new save file names like "Save 3 - MyCharName Riverwood 03.37.32.ess" instead of just "quicksave.ess".
