Vortex and FNIS?

In my plugin list, I see a disabled "FNIS.esp". Is this correct? I would've thought the main FNIS file would be a utility used by Vortex rather than a mod for individual games. How is FNIS supposed to work with Vortex? I do activate FNIS within Vortex's dashboard. But should FNIS be in the game itself?

FNIS.esp needs to be activated. Otherwise during game start FNIS cannot adjust animation variable values. Which is necessary every time you add or remove a mod that uses FNIS "Alternate Animations". Which causes wrong animations to be player (e.g. for PCEA2, Sexy Move, XPMS/equip).

Many thanks for the quick reply! And many thanks for your extraordinary mods! I don't know why Vortex disabled FNIS.esp. Everything seemed to be working properly. I was able to run FNIS from the Vortex dashboard. When starting game, I would notice the female breast in the character creator jiggling a little bit which I took as a sign that the body physics mods were working. Anyhow, I enabled FNIS.esp, so hopefully everything will work properly.
