  1. Where can I find that? Or is there not a forum for collections since I already looked for that. To download the collection, I followed the tutorials in the collection area.
  2. I downloaded a Collection for DAO but I always get an Application Load Error. What's likely wrong? This is the first time using Vortex and downloading a collection.
  3. I already have Interesting NPCs. Are there any other recent additional NPC mods out there to give Skyrim a more "populated" look? I used to use "Inconsequential NPCs" after processing it for SSE, but it's a bit long in the tooth. Anything more recent?
  4. I tried that, it didn't work for the Masters window. It did work for the other windows.
  5. I recently added Dawn of Skyrim to my load order, but there's a problem: the mod author recently changed the name of the esp. Currently it is Dawn of Skyrim.esp. Previously it was Blues Skyrim.esp. The result of this is that some patches have "Dawn" as the master, others have "Blues." I want to set all the patches that currently have "Blues" as the master to "Dawn." But how do I do this? I google this topic regarding xEdit and search it at YouTube but come up with nothing. I've been told that it can be done easily with Wrye Bash, but the window for Masters in Wrye Bash is down to a sliver and I can't see any Masters listed at all, it is unusable in its current size. Does anyone know how to resize windows in Wrye Bash? Or if anyone has a better way to change mod masters, I would gladly accept guidance toward other methods. Thanks.
  6. I will be playing, everything looks perfect....and then the screen freezes without warning. Sometimes it's during rain but not always. Is this likely a memory issue? I have a one year old PC with good specs, including a 2080TI card with 13 gigs of VRAM. Is it possible for a PC with decent specs to be overwhelmed by a modded 10 year old game? Or is this more likely a load order issue? (Load order attached.)
  7. I understand that if I install a skin mod like BIJIN Skin or Fair Skin Complexion, it only impacts the PC and not NPCs. Is there any way to upgrade the skin textures of all the NPCs of Skyrim? Do NPC overhauls change the quality of skin texture over vanilla SSE?
  8. Currently with Hunterborn, only dry good merchants still hunting knives in their shops. I believe blacksmiths and perhaps travelling merchants should sell hunting knives as well. The reason for my request is that I normally play using the "Live Another Life" mod and I have the mod place my PC in random locations, not all of which have general goods shops.
  9. Nexus is the source for the mods WabbaJack uses to assemble its modlists. No "stolen mods" are involved. If a Nexus modder pulls a mod, a WabbaJack mod list using that mod can no longer be used until the list manager removes that mod from his list. zEdit is a modding utility that allows modders to evade the 254 mod plugin limit. There are some zEdit materials available from Nexus itself.
  10. Using zEdit, how do you create a zPatch? I downloaded a modlist via WabbaJack. It has a zPatch that includes a mod I'd prefer to delete. So how do I re-run the zPatch so I can remove Masters I don't like?
  11. I've installed Hunterborn & Hunterborn MCM and they work in game only part of the way. After killing a deer, the PC can then skin the hide, harvest ingredients and meat. However, each of these tasks takes only a minute even when the PC is starting out. I know that if the mod is working properly, each of these tasks takes a significant amount of time which then decreases as your skills improve. But this is totally not the case for my system now. As to the MCM, most of the tweaks work properly except for a couple like "tracking takes time" which it won't allow you to check. I try adjusting the Global Time Multiplier, but it goes back to zero after I close the MCM. Any idea what's causing my problems?
  12. In the past, I've used Hunterborn, Frostfall, and iNeed. But too often, this trio combined with other mods I installed would cause script bloat and something would end up suffering. Any way to get some script efficient synergy out of survival mods?
  13. Some situations in Skyrim require your PC to go underwater and risk drowning. NPCs sometimes follow your PC into the water but never take drowning damage. It should be possible to fight in the water and possibly have the PC drown enemy NPCs.
  14. Many, many thanks! Just tried out your recommendation and it's exactly what I was looking for!
  15. Here's an idea that I've been obsessing about today: Bandits Act Like Bandits. During my last PT, I noticed that the bandits who occupied Fort Greymoor in Whiterun would attack travelers that would pass by the fort. All they would ever do, however, is kill the travelers. They would otherwise leave the bodies untouched. The bandits should actually do what bandits are supposed to do: loot the dead bodies, taking away money, weapons, armor, even fancy clothes. It always annoys me when my PC runs across a dead body without any indications of what happened to said person. Finding a body stripped or partially stripped, with all valuables taken, would clearly indicate that bandits and not some wild animal was responsible.
  16. There is a bandit encampment with rock trap next to a bridge north of Rorikstead. If a patrol of Thalmor get triggered by the bandits, there's a fight and sometimes the Thalmor win and sometimes they're taken out by the bandit archers. By contrast, if a merchant caravan of three NPCs - a merchant who lacks armor and two bodyguards - gets triggered by the bandits, they attack and defeat the bandits who number about 10. The mod has the members of the caravan set up with a "protected" flag and they are set to "aggressive" and "brave." So not only do the merchants attack, but they can't be killed permanently by the bandits. They may be dead briefly but revive the moment the bandits' backs are turned. I tried removing the "protected" flag in xEdit and changed them to "unaggressive" and "cowardly" as well, but the merchants don't change. They behave the same and are unkillable. This mod has a bsa as well as an esp. Would the bsa override changes I make to the esp in xEdit? Would extracting the bsa but leaving the bsa change anything? Or would it break the mod? Any guidance would be appreciated.
  17. My game has 264 plugins though more than 20 of these are esl's. The game looks beautiful while it's running but then will CTD without warning. Is there any log within the game that will clue me in on what's causing the instability?
  18. I just got a 34" ultrawide monitor. What mod best adjusts Skyrim to an ultrawide screen?
  19. Many thanks! I didn't have to clear old API key. Today, for some reason, it's working and my MO2 is now connected to Nexus.
  20. Not sure what's the right board for this question, but after downloading MO2 to my new computer, I'm having trouble connecting MO2 to Nexus. I keep getting error message about failing to retrieve "Nexus API key"? How do I correct this?
  21. I just purchased an Alienware AW3418DW monitor for my new PC. It has an aspect ratio of 21:9 and a resolution of 3440 X 1440. Is it possible to get Skyrim to utilize this capability?
  22. How did you get WICO to work? That mod has been messed up for quite a while!
  23. Sure, I'd be glad to look at your load order for inspiration. What did you do for NPC overhauls or did you just stick with vanilla? With my old system, everything fell apart when I tried to use ENBs or Dyndolod. (2 gigs VRAM not enough) I shouldn't have problems with new system.
  24. Just wondering if there was any consensus as to the best guide for those with more capable PCs (plenty of VRAM and good GPU)? I've done Nordic's guide in the past. That's being revamped. I'm also familiar with YASHED and TUCO which are targeted toward beginners. Any thoughts?
  25. Hi. You pretty much ask the same question I wanted to ask! I ordered a new computer last week built around the 2080 TI GPU and would certainly like a guide that would take advantage of the GPU's advanced capabilities. I was inspired to get a new system because my 2015 Alienware desktop with its 2 gig VRAM couldn't seem to handle guides aimed at more modest machines. (That and my machine's tendency to throw up "the blue screen of death" several times a week.) I've heard good things about Lexy's guide though I'm a little confused between LOTD the DLC versus LOTD the guide? Anyhow, if you want to create an a guide for supped-up desktops, I may be a viable tester -- when I get my new rig sometime this week, hopefully.
