Can you suggest me a player home? I've been looking around for a player home that looks good and also has lots of display cases and mannequins, and i mean lots, enough for all base game armors and more for modded ones.

Im currently using Cliffside Cottage (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4036) and its doing me well but lighting in the house is annoying me and some of the displays aren't to my liking.

For ones with a lot of mannequins, you're probably going to want to focus on castle/palace type homes for the most part, since they're usually the only ones that have sufficient room . One exception I can think of is the bathing beauties bathhouse, which is more like a hipster hotel or hostel, but which does seem to have a lot of mannequins in its basement area.

I'd have recommended Peregrine Highwatch HFX, (My favorite "larger" player home) but you said you want a ton of mannequins. It only has four.

Honestly, I don't know of any player home capable of displaying every vanilla armor and custom armor...That's a whole lot of mannequins.

My mod won't suit you. The mannequins don't move, guarranteed but there are only 5. Lots of unique displays but not standard display cases.

I like 'Helgen Reborn', but I hated the player home. Never used it. In your case, it might be just what you're after! Also, and imo this is an even better mod to play, 'Clockwork' gives heaps of mannequins and display plaques/racks.

The mannequins all wander in both mods, but if you know how to use CK, I can tell you how to stop this. Not sure if my fix has a limit on the mannequins in one cell, but they don't move in my personal Severin Manor mod and that has around a dozen. Mannequins are script-heavy and the more you put in any cell, the worse they behave!...

... "Naughty mannequins!, stay put!"

RE: Clockwork ... It's also pretty decent as far as quests go...be prepared to spend a ~longish evening completing it though and make sure you have sufficient level to accomplish it (unless you're playing on easy mode)

Try Silian Manor and Frostvale Manor that put homes just outside of Solitude and Windhelm respectively. The guy who built them, and I forget his name, does the perfect Skyrim houses as far as I am concerned.

They're amazing, vanilla assets and no little 'chic' touches, nothing 'Elianora' or the like.....if that's important to you they wont do..... BUT......they're perfectly lit, fully navemeshed, adoption and follower friendly, and I mean follower friendly with sandboxing enabled and over a dozen follower beds, and his mods even have staff, but not preposterous 'Castle' mod staff of dozens and dozens, usually just a couple of guard/followers and handy merchant, a horse, and for you, most of all, the biggest armory spaces I have seen without becoming overwhelming. Oh and they're also completely in the world space, no caves accessing some off world cell.

Best of all, most of the interiors are in ONE cell across the floor plan and storeys. Ergo, there's only the house, the basement, and maybe on some of his houses a tower, or attic. So you can go from making food, to sleeping, to bathing, to crafting to storing things to displaying arms and armour, all in the one cell, NO load screens.

As far as I see it, this guys mods so be the benchmark in parcticality and substance, that underpins all 'Style" houses. He gets them just right, perfect size, perfect features, perfect locales, just do bare in mind that compared to many Skyrim mod houses, they are a bit plain, but I've yet to see ONE Skyrim house that bests his designs in pure gameplay functionality and practicality.

So if you're looking for a ton a of storage for arms and armour in a manageable package, not too huge as to be an effort to live in, and not too small as to miss out on the all the required features in a skyrim house seemingly just to keep it bijou, I'd definitely look at those two, then check the mod authors other houses too.

There are a surprising number of mods that might suit your needs. Most you'll find in the Castles, Palaces, Mansions, and Estates category.

Here are some that I think might work for you:

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3657

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2125 + https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2126

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/11866

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/11802 and the patches for your existing mods. I've found that Legacy of the Dragonborn adds an entirely new element to the entire game, besides adding a ton of storage.

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4632 is my personal favorite. I changed some of the coloring in mine (rather easy to do). The attached screenshot shows what it looks like. Sorry about the quality, but the forum limits the size.

Hope this helps
