TreshMek Posted August 18, 2020 Share Posted August 18, 2020 tl;dr Game randomly CTD's without warning while roaming around in the wilderness outside of interior and city cells. I've been playing Oblivion for a long time even with mods. But now, with a fresh install, a new save, and with only very few mods, the game is now suddenly crashing while I roam around in the wilderness. I honestly have no idea what the cause is as they happen completely at random. Otherwise, the game runs exactly as fast and hilarious as it's always been. This is my current load order. Not sure if it will help in your case but it may be worth trying the mod "EngineBugFixes" It's easy to install/uninstall and prevents a lot of CTDs. Striker879 Posted August 19, 2020 Share Posted August 19, 2020 (edited) BOSS for load order (though some will prefer LOOT) and MessageLogger. - Edit - EngineBugFixes has some that are specific for problems that occur in the wilderness (outlined in it's readme).
