Any way to have an actual "text input" for a terminal? (and use that text input as a string in a script ...)

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody!

I have always been wondering if there is any way to have an actual text input for terminals.

And then have a script or a script fragment on that terminal that does something with the "typed in text" (for example compare it to a value and then display a certain entry)

I know that Papyrus isn't good at handling strings, but is there any way to do this?

So like have a regular terminal entry where you can scroll down, click the "links" to different entries, all of that normal stuff.
But you can also type in text (that shows up at the "blinking cursor" at the bottom of the "terminal screen") and when you hit enter, a script will do something with that entered text.

Because that would make some really cool things possible!

If anybody knows anything about this, let me know here ...
