Hi all,

I'm getting seriously frustrated, how do I include an image from my computer in a post, I'm trying to show someone a picture of a mesh in nifSkope in a personal conversation. I clicked on my media library and there was nothing there and when I clicked on image it asked me for URL, do I actually have to upload the image to the web?!

Yes, you need to put your picture on the web somewhere and then link to it either with the IMG tag or the URL tag. If you want it visible in post use the IMG tag.

You can upload images to the nexus if you wish.

Go to whatever nexus game site you use

Click on your account link and access your user area

You should find an Images box

Click the link that says "Add a new image"

Fill in the blanks and browse for your image

Submit the image

Now when you click on the thumbnail image and go to the image page, you can right click on the image and choose "copy image location" to get the specific url address.

You have to upload your own image on the web. You can use Flikcr, for example, and you have to copy the BBcode of your image in the post. The link or BBcode of your image you will find it in the options of Flikcr. Copy and paste that code.

Thats all.

Hope I've helped.

Ummm, you wouldn't want some random Nexian being able to connect directly to your computer, would you? :ermm:

So you have to put the image somewhere that the other person can reach it...

Pretty much what IsharaMeradin said, but I would suggest uploading it to your nexus image gallery as a hidden file if you don't want it to be viewed in your image gallery. When you display it in your post it will be visible.

On the Nexus site interface (so one of the game pages, not this forum interface) you'll see an "Upload" button at the very top towards the right side when you are logged in. Click that and you can choose "Upload an Image".
