  1. And as the raffle drum turns, so do the days of our lives. Why do I torture myself with horrible puns...
  2. There should be a 'switch' the game uses to tell if it's in survival mode or not that allows ammo to have weight. This exists for almost all of the survival concepts and have the "HC_" prefix. The simplest way to make a mod like this would be to find that switch. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be in any of the obvious places and isn't mentioned in the HC_Rules formlist.
  3. Hardcore Mode [On] might be what you're looking for (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10399/?). It has hunger/thirst/sleep needs as well as a disease system, all of which are tweakable/optional in-game.
  4. I would be happy if they kept the old format (width x height) for the title image and ads at least. As it is now, mods with a tagline in their title image get cut off ("Loot got you down?" -> "Loot got", it sends a very different message) and the adspace now takes up a third of the screen.
  5. Thank you Neanka. I found that changing the "true/false" settings I wanted by editing DEF_INV.xml directly using Notepad++ bypassed the font size issue completely.
  6. So... found a small bug. When installing DEF_INV default setting is synced tabs, which I prefer to play without. Opening the settings.swf and unticking this box (actually, opening settings.swf and editing any setting) sets all text in the pipboy to 12 p, even though it should be 18 p. I'ts slightly annoying but if it can't be fixed/worked around it's no biggie. The question is, of course, if anyone else has experienced this effect and has discovered a workaround, or if it's just my setup that doesn't like me.
  7. I had the same problem (now fixed). I found here a hint that the culprit is DEF_INV - Improved interface beta by Neanka. I then found 'DEF_INV 3' is incompatible with patch 1.4, which should run 'DEF_INV 4'. ie. Update def_inv_scrap.esp This fixed the issue for me. Hope it helps. UPDATE: Unfortunately, Neanka (author of the DEF_ series of mods) have (as far as we know) become fed up with people not reading the mod description before asking questions and has removed all his mods from the nexus. If you don't have the latest versions of the ones you want, you need to ask someone who does. Otherwise you're out of luck sadly.
