  1. I have 924 wigs and roughly half of them have 2 or 3 nifs so I was attempting to keep the size of the mod down by linking the nifs to the armor rather than creating new nifs. But it's only partially successful as shown in the video. The top portion still has the bald area and won't show through to the other nif. unlike head parts that have an extra item in the form and the top sees to the bottom nif and no skin showing.
  2. Trying to use in game hair nifs to link to hat for my wig mod to get rid of bald pieces in nifs since hair has multiple nifs. link to vid to show what I mean
  3. Still working on my vanilla wig mod. Probably going to break Becky Fallons counter from the weight of all the wigs. Then I have to try and figure out my mesh issue.
  4. I'm having an argument with the CK and it's winning. Using the meshes.ba2 trying to merge FemaleHair32.nif and FemaleHair32_Hairline1.nif into one file so it looks like the image below: which I grabbed on the 1st CK we were allowed to have when it went open and i can't access them like this anymore which is why i need to merge.( you may have to right click it and open image in new tab to see it.) I've looked at several how to do vids but they all seem to be for fallout3 or newvegas or or and nothing that relates to current FO4 updated CK. I just can't seem to make it work the way that's obvious to me. Can someone point me in the right dirrection?
  5. I had an issue like that with cait a couple of games ago. I just forced her affinity to 900 with the console and it seemed to straighten her out. targetID.modav CA_affinity modifies Companion affinity level by a relative value
  6. Maybe someone knows if I did something when I wasn't looking. Background been working on my Wigs mod I was able to see the .nif files of the original hair so I could copy them rename them and modify their color settings without any conflicts. The other day we were patched and I hadn't been working on the mod for a couple of days but I uploaded it after I grabbed some screenshots. I can no longer see these files I can only see the files for the mods that are installed. I even uninstalled FO4 and the CK and reinstalled them to see if would straighten up and play nice with me again. I fired up BAE for the 1st time and looked and it looks like all the files I was looking for were renamed to FemaleHair1 FemaleHair2 etc and I don't see any association with the original naming convention that was there before. Anyone else have this issue and any clue how I can get back what I had before? Or did they redo things to where I'm stuck with what I've got?
  7. that's a missing texture. check the mod to see if there are any seperate texture files you need to download.
  8. Hi all. I'm an old fart that hasn't done anything in about 6 years so I've forgotten more than I know. I'm at version 1 of a Wig Mod and I've been doing it entirely in the CK. I was having some issues with stability on it until I copied and renamed the original hair nif. I did this for each color. I used the color remapping indexer to change the colors of the wigs this was causing an issue when i had to many wigs using the same nif which is why i copied them. My current issue is sometimes (not always) when i swap wigs you wind up bald. Sometimes zoning fixes that sometime not. But if I save the game quit and then continue my graphics show up and I'm no longer bald. (this works every time) I'd like someone in the know to look at it maybe or explain to me what I'm doing wrong. My last problem is I don't remember how to prep what I've done and upload to the nexus. Since I was using the CK it dropped everything in my steam folder. Am i suppose to upload the fallout masterfile as well? And does it automatically fix it so others can use the NMM to download it or is there something special i need to do? thanks
