  1. In response to post #24595524. #24595709 is also a reply to the same post. Well then, that was certainty quick.
  2. I just noticed that there is a new setting for files under the distribution permissions for using assets, a check-box asking if you choose to restrict mod assets from being using in mods being sold for Steam workshop and the like. Was that there before, or added just now?
  3. Apparently Sesom, the NV Breeze author is already on work on it. It's good that a Roberts version is being made.
  4. Hopefully once the report is posted up for us users interested with EARACHE42, everything will be cleared up, so that people will stop making early and uninformed judgements and conclusions to the string of events that occurred, and will also stop blaming the Moderators and Admins for doing their job on the Nexus.
  5. start the game, it starts downloading the rest of the content.
  6. A Role-Playing Game without a Main Quest? Sounds a bit like a MMORPG. The only difference being that MMORPG's are mainly driven by the concept of the "Holy Grail" (Background Story) For a Single-Player Role-Playing Game, scrapping the Main Quest is a bad idea and will not impress, because the Main Quest is the other drive that the player needs in order to keep the player interested, and to influence the choices you make for your Player Character. No Main Quest means no interest, and no true development of the Character you play. Wandering aimlessly without a main goal is pointless. Even if the "Holy Grail" is there in Fallout, it cannot stand by itself so simply without a guide for the Player Character.
  7. You are in no obligation to download the mods that don't suit you or that you dislike. They cater for various audiences, and if it doesn't suit your tastes, then obviously it wasn't for you. If you don't like what the modders make, then look the other way and ignore it. It's their game, they can do whatever they want. Hell, you aren't even obligated to download mods at all in the first place.
  8. The Author of that mod hasn't come back since 2009. Legally, the mod in question isn't gonna see the light of day in New Vegas because Permission is required.
  9. Please make sure that you can actually use the textures. If the textures do not exist inside the Fallout - Textures.bsa of your New Vegas Data directory, then you cannot use it, and will be illegal to port into New Vegas for release if you attempt to take the textures from the Mothership Zeta archives from its Fallout 3 directory. Use the BSA Browser from the Fallout Mod Manager to check.
  10. Wait just a second, is this a personal mod or something you plan to release?
  11. let me remind you that no one is going to fulfill that request, because it's a Violation of the EULAs and the Forum TOS. This also counts for providing instructions on how to do such a thing. I would drop the request now and don't think about it again.
  12. NO If a game requires Steam, circumventing it Violates the EULA. As for the main NVSE link for those still showing the Beta 5, I did a Hard Refresh (Ctrl+F5) and the page updated.
  13. A new patch just came out. My suggestion? Play the waiting game. A New version will come
  14. We'll have to play the waiting game again for the next NVSE version. I'm not too worried, I have other games to play in the meantime
  15. Extract from its Update History: No further in-depth info though, it would be nice to see what it actually fixed with said issues. If you're worried about your Archive Invalidation, Backup your .inis. It's common sense.
